Redick is in 9/10 Moore and Nelson both appear in 5/10 AA in 5/10 Glen in 4/10 Pretty clear cut who the best and most important player on the team has been. The biggest surprise was the 11th best line-up. Smith/Moore/Harkless/Nicholson/OQuinn line-up. Very small sample size but in roughly a quarter and a half, they're +7.

I think you can throw out all losses without Jameer in the line-up.

Yeah, John doesn't attatch stuff without numbers. Two wins over the Warriors, one against the Lakers, the Nuggets, and the Timberwolves. It remains to be seen how we play without Glen, but we're a playoff team at full strength. 11-6 with a handful of wins to be proud of. Of coursed mixed with the Pistons, Suns, Wizards, Bobcats and Cavaliers of the world.

We got Dwight to re-sign last year when Hedo was out. No surprise he gets hurt this year and we exceed expectations. He should never suit up again.

I'm not sure this team at full strength couldn't beat last year's team at full strength. We traded Dwight for a blossoming wing defender in Harkless with crazy potential, a double double machine only scratching the surface of his in Nik, cap space, and a giant trade exception. 5 months later, I'm happy with the return.

Serious question, when Hedo comes back, what's his role? Starting him means taking time from Harkless = bad. Putting him on bench means he takes touches away from JJ = worse. What do you do with him? He shouldn't be in our closing line-up. He isn't a good defender. I really like our rotation right now and think we have 12 guys who can contribute on a nightly basis as Jones and McRoberts have shown when their number's been called. I just see Turkotrash as a wrench in that.

Lin > Afflalo. Lin dominates the ball. He struggled with Melo and he's struggling with Harden. The game Harden didn't play, Lin had 38 points and 7 assists.

9-6 this season when JJ and Jameer play. I don't understand at this point why us winning games surprises people. This team has 6 players who can consistently get their own shot. Harkless is emerging as a guy who could potentially be an elite perimeter defender in this league, and Vaughn seems to have finally found a good rotation although I think Jones could use more burn. We're a good team, guys.

I disagree. He's probably going to make a run at sixth man of the year and if the Magic sneak into the playoffs, there's a good chance he could get it, especially if he has one of those "holy crap, he's hitting everything games" in a game against a true contender. If JJ's contract is what his last one was, I'm all for keeping him. If he wants upwards of 10+, unless we trade AA (PLEASE!), then it's time to move on. JJ's leadership and work ethic are two things you definitely want on a rebuilding team. Look at the Wizards and other teams who have tried to build without guys like JJ and Jameer. They suck.

Disagree. Meer is a leader and a stable veteran presence who makes people around him better by his presence. Anderson just doesn't bring enough intangibly to keep him over Jameer.

We're 6-3 with Jameer and JJ both in the line-up with wins against pre-season darlings LA and Denver and a pretty good win against what's been a red-hot Golden State team. And for all we know, Harrington could be our second or third best player. Getting him back will be huge. We're a deep team with really young, raw players too who are going to grow as the year goes on, especially with the work ethic some of our veterans have. And if Vuc can average a double-double the rest of the way, things will only look up.

I pray to god we don't go small. But there's no reason to change it and hopefully Vaughn sees it. Our end of game line-up is like +38 in 35 minutes or something similar to that. RE: Hedo:: He sucks. He can't dribble-penetrate, he can't create for others, he can't create for himself. This isn't 2008. Why do people still view him as anything but a spot shooter?

Royce White is a nut case. Terrence Jones doesn't play. Jeremy Lamb isn't very good. I'll take our rookies over theirs. However, Chandler Parsons would've been fantastic to grab.

I don't really get this notion that we didn't try to build up last time. We drafted Dwight, traded for Nelson on draft day, drafted Redick and Lee. Turk for all intensive purposes developed here, Gortat's rookie year was here. Pietrus was a young cheap signing. Really only Lewis from the finals team wasn't developed in Orlando except for the stop gap pieces. Building through the draft only works if you get incredibly lucky IE OKC. I'd rather draft a strong stable of supporting players (like we have) on cheap contracts and gain a star or two through free agency or our trade exception. That's why I think winning is imperative this year. If our role players can prove they can play at a high level, we can use that trade exception with the two pathetic picks we got from LA/Denver and maybe another cheap piece to S/T someone this summer or trade for a disgruntled star. Florida has serious tax advantages.

He needs confidence. It's frustrating watching someone with his skillset and his stroke and his athleticism play on offense like he's never seen a basketball before. He's talented but I've seen him kill too many offensive possessions to be a fan of his game yet.

Vucevic needs to grow a pair and we need a shot blocker off the bench desperately.
