We aren't the 96 Bulls. It didn't happen twice. Ish was +20 and Detroit's PGs aren't exactly low quality players. Energy the last two games has been awesome. We need more Ish.

And yet they've beat us twice before today.

I know it was against subs at the very end, but the Ish/Wafer backcourt would be something I'd like to see in games where we come out flat; kind of like how Boston used Nate Robinson two years ago. Team needs a boost, just send in the gunners. Earl Clark blows though. Can't think of a redeeming quality of his game. Justin Harper's defense on Charlie V was much much better.

Earl Clark is effing useless. And Harper has lost a lot of weight. Anyone else notice that? Looks like he's in really good shape. Should help him be more of a stretch 4 in the future. And Von > Hedo.

Aside from Earl Clark, I am happy with everyone's performance tonight. Would love to keep JJ/JRICH on the wings and use either Q or Von depending on who the other team brought off the bench. Jameer looked good and gosh, Ish is quick as lightning. And Orton is still a horrible basketball player. So make that everyone but Clark and Orton looked good today.

By the way, notice how much better our effort has been in the two games PT?

Damn. No one thinks Ish is an all-star. But Uhn sucks and Ish can give us 10-15 solid minutes per game while Uhn won't.

If there is one position the Pistons have quality players, it's at the point. Stuckey, Bynum, and Knight are three good point guards. Ish has proven he can drive and kick and actually start an offense. Looks a little like Alston did.

I saw that Teague helped himself with his tourney performance which is weird since I remember him getting off to hot starts in games and then getting run the rest of the way. And a proven wing. And by rights, I mean his RFA rights. Sign and trade type deal.

No but Liggins has shown that he can play defense and be a Matt Barnes type player. And Wafer can score on his own. I know he has other deficiencies but his defense is not any worse than Turks or JRICHs and unlike anyone else on our roster other than JJ, he can score on his own. Wafer is a spark player who I think can really benefit us if we set him loose. Liggins is a guy I'd like to see when the other guys aren't giving effort (too frequent) or when we're struggling to defend a wing player. I only want to see Harper play because Clark blows. But for the playoffs, BBD, Ryno, and D12 will be a sick rotation.

Who is going to make plays without him? Well for 1, it means the ball is exclusively in Jameer and JJ's hands. We didn't turn the ball over against a long, athletic Philly team nearly as much as we do with Turkoglu on the court. We finally got to see JJ the closer which I liked a lot better than Hedo. And before you say it's just one game, I've seen Redick him his fair amount of fourth quarter shots in his career. Secondly, when Wafer is in the game, even if it's only 8-10 minutes, his ability to drive in on a defense forces it to collapse creating what are called hockey assists where your kick leads to a swing-pass to an open man. Also, without Hedo, it gives Davis more chances to isolate as opposed to just playing off-ball. When Davis isolates from 15-20 feet and takes a shot with the other team's PF on him, who does that leave rebounding in the paint? ONE opponent against Dwight. I'll take that matchup all night long. That's what happened in the third quarter. Either BBD got his shot or Dwight cleaned it up. Don't even get me started on his complete lack of effort on defense. When JRICH plays with a pulse, he's twice the defender Hedo is. When QRICH gets healthy that's another guy. Only reason Hedo gets any kind of numbers or ends up "initiating the offense" is because it's force-fed.

Praying that we trade the pick with Anderson's rights for a wing player.

Wouldn't be able to. I don't like it being under-sized and would like to see Liggins or QRICH (when/if either were healthy) at SF to provide some D, but I like this line-up.

Just an observation. When BBD goes 1v1 with shooters at the 1/2/3, whether he misses or makes is irrelevant. When he does that, especially with this line-up, it puts Dwight 1v1 against the other team's C for a rebound. Not sure many teams have a C that can out-board Dwight.
