I like Daquan and hope they keep him. I would rather cut Q. There needs to be three PGs on the roster. I like Armon more but Ish does provide some speed, something that lacks at that position. Maybe he can just pick up the ball handler full court for a few minutes each game.

If the Magic bring in someone from the OKC organization, don't be surprised if they blow the entire team up and start over from scratch. That's their M.O.: bottom out and then rebuild through the draft. It seems to work but there will be several years of awful basketball before it pays off.

After Monday night, I'm guessing that Orton does not return next season as the Magic do not pick up the option on his rookie contract. He may never step foot in the Amway Center again wearing a Magic jersey. Although, to be fair, how many times did he actually get to wear a jersey at AC?

the only issue that is important to me is if Monta Ellis would have helped the Magic. the answer is yes b/c Dwight hand-picked him as a teammate and would have committed to the Magic for three more years if Ellis would have come via trade. now, that is just one less option for the Magic to pursue.

Otis is gone by the end of the season; it will be after the deadline and probably after black tie and tennies. the twist is, however, is that he will "retire" rather than be fired. i would not be surprised if alex martins and his analytics team is heavily involved after that.
