  1. Isaac is going to set the tone for us from an intensity standpoint. With that dude flashing literally everywhere on defense you have no choice but to put in work on the defensive end. The euro step was great from a confidence standpoint but his lateral movement and quickness was even more impressive. I’m 45 and have watched basketball for 30 years and I’ve never, ever,  seen a 7 ft tall player move around the court the way that Isaac does

Please tell me that Ennis will not be in our starting lineup on the Restart.  If it is not Isaac play 3 guards (perhaps Fournier at 3) with increased pace of play.  Or, after last night, think about Bsmba and Vuc on the floor at the same time.  Clifford said last summer he wanted to try that and never did all season.  Tells us a  lot about Clifford and his imagination as a head coach.  I think Frazier played better than Ennis last night and previous comments about Frazier should indicate how bad Ennis is playing right now.

Ennis was starting before COVID so I imagine he will continue to in the bubble. Amazing (or maybe pathetic) that a guy who couldn’t find his way off the bench in Philly starts for us, but you know Cliff

Imagine if we played Isaac in a pointless scrimmage when he's not 100% ready, he did his ACL, missed all of next season, never came back with the same explosiveness and ruined his career. All to appease fans who "hate that we coddle young guys", all so he could be a "man".

Imagine paying some of the world's experts on maintaining player health, load management, conditioning etc and then actually taking advice from those people and not random fans who know nothing about the situation except what they read online.

Imagine if that happened to any player at any time. Using this logic we should not play anyone who has ever had an injury. Its bs. If he's medically cleared and ready to play he should be on the court. He could blow his knee out at anytime, just like anyone could

There’s a 3% fatality rate. Amway holds 20,000. Even if it’s just at 50% capacity or below, there’s a decent chance someone dies, provided someone has the disease and transmits it.

I don’t know what basis you have to say that nobody would have the disease other than your own convictions. It’s the same reason Florida universities have moved online— there’s a decent chance somebody has contracted the disease, and it’s better safe than sorry assuming that nobody has corona considering how contagious it is. Continuing the games, especially with an infected Utah locker room,  would be pretty irresponsible.

Influenza B mortality rate is 1-2%. Maybe we should just cancel everything and live in shelters underground

Really, you are blaming the NBA ? Health comes before the entertainment. Just enjoy the day with your son. You guys will go to the game when they resume. Would you really want to go and risk getting your whole family getting infected just so you could have the bobble head ? Ridiculous. There will be 100s of games left, but we only have 1 life each.  Happy birthday to your little buddy!

I can say with nearly 100% certainty that if a game was played in Orlando tonight not a soul would walk away with coronavirus, and even if they did they would have roughly the same likelihood of perishing as anyone diagnosed with influenza B (with similar risk factors). This whole thing is getting totally blown out of proportion...that's what's ridiculous.

  6. In 15 mins, when my son wakes up, I get to explain to him that we won’t be going to the game tonight, and he won’t be on the court paired up with a Magic player during the national anthem, and we won’t be cutting down the net on the court after the game, and he won’t be getting a Jonathan Isaac bobble head ...on his 8th birthday. Thanks NBA

I think a lot of Gordon’s issues are mental. He obviously has all the tools, but has a tendency to push sometimes and then it doesn’t work and he gets out of sync.

on another note Evan is making it very difficult not to resign him.

He's already signed. Its a matter of whether he "opts in" or not. If he opts out who knows what happens, but one of he or Vuc needs to go for this team to take the next step.
