JV is all about moral victories. I appreciate his positivity, but this will need to end, relatively soon. Good to see guys play well and compete and all, but we lost...so why is he so fukin proud and happy? I'm just not sold on the idea of this guy taking us to the next level once expectations rise. His mentality is very junior varsity imo

One of Jennings for Ellis will be gone next season, so JJ will likely be the starting SG in Milwaukee next year. I think they will overpay to keep him rather than look like fools for trading Harris for nothing

This team was not supposed to be good, if it was then Henny would've chosen the path of mediocrity that almost everyone on this board unilaterally agrees is the wrong way to go. If you don't have the foresight to see what's going on, and the patience to let it happen, then frankly that's your problem. No one is forcing you to go to games or support the team or post on this board

I agree with all the Dwight stuff, but I disagree that we are worse off now than after Shaq left. We have, imo, three very promising players in Harris, Vuc, and Harkless (I'm less impressed with Nicholson), will be drafting in the upper third of the lottery for the next two years (including the 2014 which is stacked), and then will have cap space that summer to add FA's to complete the roster overhaul. I see this a three year re-build, with this being the toughest year to deal with and thankfully its almost over. This is not a five-seven year project, we will be competing during the 2014-2015 season...I honestly believe that.

JV contradicts himself. He says fouling Dwight was a strategy they "had to use", then goes on to say he "believes in his guys". No, you don't believe in your guys...not in so much as you just said you had to employ a desperation strategy and foul Dwight constantly, all game long, (even when it wasn't working at all) to have a chance. We might have had a chance if we were prepared and just played straight up defense...that would have been "believing in your guys". Playing a gimmick defense did not help any of our young guys get better tonight and as a fan it was quite embarrasing to watch.

JV needs to explain the defensive strategy of fouling Dwight Howard all game long in lieu of even attempting to have guys prepared to play defense. It's a decent strategy when your down late and need a possession or two, its an embarrassing strategy when it actually IS your defense. Ashamed to be a Magic fan after this game

That would have taken so much forethought and would have required league execs to assume that LA would be fighting for their playoff lifes at this point...which I don't believe anyone thought would be the case. That said, it is very surprising that this game is not being nationally televised. Maybe they were trying to protect Dwight's image to a certain extent? Don't know, don't care

I think we'll put up a good fight at the very least. The guy that scares me is Kobe. He loves this kind of atmosphere and is the one guy on the floor who has proven his ability to explode for huge games on the big stage. My gut tells me he's going to try and take over and dominate this game, even if only to steal the show from Dwight.
