I'd feel fine at number 1 because we'd take Noel and at least get a game changing defender out of this draft. Also, by drafting him and him not playing til say mid-season we'd keep ourselves in the running for Wiggins. The only down side is the odds are against us getting the #1 pick back to back, but just because we don't get it this year doesn't mean our chances of getting it next year go up...at least not statistically speaking.

I disagree slightly, only in that you don't get to choose how other teams will match up and defend you and your going to run the offense to Vuc's and Noel's strengths regardless of what position you call it. Its the defensive match-ups that you have control over and that would sort of define who is "playing" C or PF on a given night...not that it really matters (like you said, and I completely agree with this, it just depends on the matchups). I think it could work because Vuc is a capable shooter and Noel could just crash the offensive boards and concentrate on wreaking havoc defensively.

Not sure the position matters. Just have Noel defend the more athletic player at the 4 or 5 or the guy with lesser offense so he can help as a weak side defender/shot blocker...whichever strategy is more sound on any given night.

That's why I kinda wish we would win one every now and then, just to keep the spirits of the young guys up. I guess if anything they're learning the hard way what it takes to win in this league. One more year of suck and then hopefully the hard work, and high draft picks, start translating into wins.

Not sure wth your referring to, but like I said Jameer is a great passer as you so clearly proved. He's been known as a pass first playmaker on this board for years, and by years I mean the last 10 minutes.
