This makes me feel much better about the whole thing as it bothered me we were going out of our way to acknowledge Dwight. I didn't realize we were "celebrating" anyone who ever put on a Magic uniform, or stretched a Magic player out. -

Not convinced past drafting is a good predictor of future drafting under a new GM? In fact I'd argue it's completely irrelevant. Obviously SA has clearly been exponentially more efficient than Orlando to this point but, much like this thread, I'm having a hard time understanding the relevance moving forward. -

Wait. Are you saying the organization has and shows tribute videos for McBob and Ayon when they come to Orlando? I haven't been to a game this year, but is this accurate? Do Earl Clark and Duhon each have one as well? If so I'm cool with Dwight having one, especially since it only incited more booing anyways -

Yeah, it's obviously wishful thinking. I thought that kind of went without saying. I've added a wink to my original post for clarification. That said, there's only two assumptions: 1) Stern made a deal with us, 2) Adam Silver honors it.

I'm aware of that. There's an assumption on my part that the new commissioner would honor previous promises made by Stern (which is also an assumption)

I appreciate dry humor, because its subtle and usually intelligent. I wouldn't refer to Hart's humor as dry at all. In fact, it seems like he works really hard, all the time, for laughs and for the most part it just misses me. To me he's like a wannabe Chris Rock, who isn't dry either, but is a truly funny MF'er.

The crew tonight flat sucked. No one would make a definitive call, there were two jump balls earlier in the game where it seemed someone should have had an angle, and three reviews including the bogus clear path ruling. Just not a good night overall for the stripes
