You're a funny guy
-
I said "I'm not so sure about that" in response to you stating "he has played his way out of the range of our second pick", to which you replied, "you're the only one who thinks that". So no, you responded directly to me which is why I've asked you to back up your opinion with evidence that anyone in the world agrees with you, much less everyone. You not caring what others think now is rather convenient as apparently you actually believed, at the time you made the statement, that everyone else agreed with you and that my opinion went against the norm, which it doesn't. Bottom line is just because you think something is the case doesn't make it so. Sorry if this is news to you.

Lmao!!! Instant classic.

Boston is smart enough not to win though. The goal was to suck and have the best shot at a top 3 pick as possible, so in that sense I'd call it reaction rather than over reaction. If you're cool with the odds on fourth pick I'm happy for you bro. -
The point is you are in the minority, not me, in terms of where you believe he should/will go and I'm certainly not the only one who disagrees with your analysis...which is why I''ve challenged you to find ANYONE who agrees with you. Otherwise just acknowledge it's your opinion (which you are completely entitled to) and that maybe you're the one in the minority. It's not asking that much really.

Maybe we can trade our 6th and 12th for their top 3? Way to get it done Magic. -

I respectfully disagree. Like I said before, I'm not for tanking but we've been committed to the process of the rebuild and as fans we've earned the right to be critical of meaningless late wins that may cost us draft position. Sorry, but winning these late games is less than meaningless -
The Magic know how to win when it counts...against us

Are we really trying to catch Boston?

My least favorite Magic win maybe ever. Meaningless and potentially costly. Congrats on ****ing yourselves and the fan base who had to endure two years of crap for a re-build we don't seem to want to be successful. 20 whatever and 50 whatever and the sixth pick in the draft...yeah -

Great job guys, we win and butt **** the entire re-build. Congrats on the 20 whatever win season and the non-franchise 6th pick in the draft. Retarded. -
Magic are blowing it...

I've never been about "tanking", but at this point a win hurts us more than it helps. Someone please help me make sense of why we are playing our hearts out to screw ourselves? -

But wait, we also want Atlanta to win to keep NY out of the playoffs. We just need to lose, period -

With the 6th pick in the 2014 NBA draft, the Orlando Magic select...who the f cares! Two years of losing to screw it all up in the final 7 games. Only the Magic -

Moral victories= Marcus Smart. Stop winning -
Cauley-Stein doesn't scare me personally, he's basically a 19yr old J. Noah.
-
That's cool, you're absolutely entitled to your opinion. Just acknowledge that yours is actually the minority opinion (not vice versa)...the guy has been slotted in the late lottery to mid- first round all year and one very impressive dunk in the championship game doesn't change the fact that he shoots 40.2% from the floor and is a defensive liability. That said, I like Young a lot and do consider him a viable option with considerable upside with our second pick.
-
It was a great play, no doubt. I know Murphy13 agrees, so much so that he went as far as to say I was the only one who doesn't believe he is now out of range with our second pick. Still waiting to here back from him with links to any reputable analyst or mock draft that agrees with that analysis...
-
ATl only down 1 with 9 mins to play!
-
We'll most likely have the 11th or 12th pick so go ahead and show me a mock draft from a reputable analyst or draft site that has him projected in the top 10. Go ahead, I'll wait.
-
Not so sure about that.

How is it determined, coin flip (not being sarcastic)? -
Of course it's my opinion. We're all expressing our opinions, although most mocks do have Exum/Randle going after what seems to be a consensus top 3 of Wiggins/Parker/Embiid. Did you read the post prior to the one that you replied to where I stated, "if Henny sees Exum as the most talented player in this draft, which is completely possible, there's no doubt in my mind he will take him if he's on the board regardless of draft position"? My point is we shouldn't feel compelled to draft based on need, we should be taking the BPA regardless of position. For the record, I like Exum and I think he'd be a great pick for us at #4 or #5, but I'm not sure I like him quite as much at 1-3 based on the players available and where I rank him, admittedly based on very limited information and video. I acknowledge this is simply my opinion...if Henny thinks he's worthy, I believe he will draft him and I'd support that.
-
Problem is the top 4-5 players in this draft are not PG's, PF's, or C's (outside of Embiid). They are almost exclusively wing players and it would be foolish to draft based on need with the talent at the top of this draft. You have to draft the BPA and adjust your roster accordingly at this stage of a re-build, especially considering not one player on this team has elevated themselves enough to be considered untouchable.
-
I understand your point but somewhat disagree. If Henny sees Exum as the most talented player in this draft, which is completely possible, there's no doubt in my mind he will take him if he's on the board regardless of draft position. Afflalo is a nice player on a good contract, who could enable us move up (from #12 lets say) and knab another coveted player in this draft (Vonleh, Gordon, etc.). Again, I like Affllalo, but he's not our long-term SG in my estimation.
