You did. Harkless is apparently the next Pippen based on his numbers being similar to Pips rookie year. Oh and DoM apparently knew the Pippen would be in the HOF when he was a fresman in Central Arkansas State or wherever he went.

My 6 year old daughter could put together a better post than the above. And no, the Magic and their fans do not want Howard back, you can keep him.

Thanks for responding to this. I was trying to, but every time I tried to focus on one point, my eyes would start hurting due to the jumbled up garbage around it. I mean that was painful to read.

Oh, I know. OldKenimport was posting regarding the shooting percentage and AA and the others and that they were getting too many minutes so that was really what I was responding too. Shooting percentage wise, only Nelson had a poor game.

I could see Meer getting minutes at SG, just not starting at the 2, which is what I assumed OldKenimport was trying to say.

Who do you want playing more minutes at SG? Moore, Jones, Hark? Please provide an answer. AA took 20 shoots and was 50%. Maybe he should have shot fewer threes but he did not have a bad overall night. Neither of the 3 I mentioned should be playing big minutes at SG since well they either suck or are young or both. In fact of the three you mentioned as ball hogs, only nelson had a bad game in terms of shooting %, but even you admitted he can sure can shoot and turned it on big time in the 2nd half As for a definition of Nelson, I did not provided one so I am not sure what you are calling accurate In fact, I stated he is a pg and a decent on at that. He is too small to play any other position.

What was the point of the facts you provided and what was your point. Teams win games all the time shooting under 50% from the field. Last night for example, NY beat CLE while shooting 46% while the Cavs shot 50%. Are you really that amazed at that stat? I really do not understand you point about Nelson either. Is he really a pg? Um, the dude is a midget by NBA standards, Do you want to plag sg and lose the height battle even worse. Oh and one more thing about the shooting percentages. The players you named off typically play further from the rim and take more jump shots, thus there fg % will be lower than say the teams PF's and Centers.

Why did you post stats from both players then? Just to say you don't know? See to me that's a waste of a post. My personal opinion on Hark is that he will become a good NBA starter or at the worst a solid bench guy. He seems to be progressing in his game. For instance his 3 ball has improved. Its ok to make predictions or provide opinions, but have some information to back up your ideas.

Everything would be ok if Harkless only had numbers similar to the numbers Jordan had during his freshman year at NC, then the only thing that could happen would be that Harkless will become the next Jordan. But no, Hark has to have number similar to Pippen and there in lies the problem. Anything can happen!

We would still have Moore and Jones so I am thinking Redick still gets traded. I mean, that trade was not made to make a playoff run. Besides, if AA was not on the team, his spot would most likely be filled with another SG. I like AA too, but he does take some dumb shots.

Harkless could be a very good player in this league for years to come. He could also fall flat on his face next year and never amount to anything more than a 10th man in the rotation. Comparing numbers is ok, heck I do it. Its hard to argue your point right now though because of Pippens body of work throughout his career. I get that anything can happen though and would be thrilled if Hark had a Pippen like career.

I personally think Duncan is the most boring superstar in the NBA. That however, does not mean I do not appreciate him as I believe that there is a differance. He is great at what he does, he brins his A game every game, has been solid for so long, his bank shot is basically money. I love his no nonsense approach. If they Magic were to become the next Spurs team, I would love that if it brought championships to Orlando. They, like Duncan, are not flashing and just win. They play amazing team ball and I like that.

Part of what I am enjoying has nothing to do with the young guys that are here now, but who is not here any longer. This team is refreshing compared to the crap from last year. Our new GM seems to know what he is doing and has the team pointed in A direction unlike the uncontrolled wonderings either one way or another of the former GM. Looking back at the Howard era, outside of the finals team, the Magic had no real chance of winning a title with him as the center piece. Henne has basically cleaned house (I hope they waive Turk this offseason) while managing to get some picks in the process. I've have already said that if there is no growth next year and the losing continues, it will get old. I for one think this team will improve the remainder of the season and into next year. I believe the 3 youngsters we had pre Redick trade have the potential to all be solid NBA players and Harris has the potential to be a stud in this league. You are right about the have to watch that guy comment, though I am saying that about Harris now. Was there a player on our team last year that you had to watch? Yes, Howard at first, but that got old really fast at least for me.

I am enjoying this season. Not the blow outs of course (and there have been a good amount of them lately), as I just turn those off, but the young guys are fun to watch. If it continues into next year with no improvement, my interest will fade I am sure. This year has gone just about as I expected. Of the 4 young guys, if 1 becomes an all star (or even just below that status), 1 becomes a solid starter, and 1 a solid bench guy, then I will be happy. As I see it now, I think that all 4 could reach the solid starter level. They all have flaws, but they are also all first or second year players.

2015 is a long way off, might want to slow down! Besides, you should be happy to watch this team compared to last years with all that high school drama club crap. I know I am,

Familiarize Yourself With Beno Udrih, Doron Lamb, and Tobias Harris

Or even the 2nd year player that he is. ;)/> I did not think his shot selection was that bad, though. I was watching from my laptop which for some reason has decided not to stream well the last two games, but it looks like his D was ok. Looked like he had a nice block on a layup attempt by someone.

    Top Magic Player of March

Wanted to vote for Vuch, but Harris has just stormed on the scene. He seems to be playing beyond his age.
