I'll be watching almost every game. I'm glad the games are in Vegas so start times will be a little later for us in the east.

I think our team this past season lacked defined roles. Without a true alpha/leader on the team, that left players to do things out of their role or ability. I feel like we still need that guy. Maybe one of the current players develops into that, but in Fournier's case, he tried to do too much outside of what his capabilities are. Teams like SA and GS have defined roles for their players and everyone does their job. I hope this is what we will eventually have.

I found it weird how he mentions DeAngelo Russell as a possible trade target for us with the Nets. Nobody here has even mentioned him as a possible PG option. I like his scoring ability, but hasn't he had injury issues? I haven't followed him very closely but I was under the impression he also has some character issues.

We saw some of this last year. Not good. This is a terrible idea. Gordon not once showed he can distribute the ball. When the ball was in his hands, the ball stopped moving.

Has anyone brought up the fact that Vuc may not see himself as a bench player? I'm not sure how the offseason will go, and if Bamba is good enough to start right away over Nikola, but he may not dig that idea and want out anyhow. The trick will be how he approaches the team if that is how he feels. You don't want him to come out publicly and voice his displeasure because that could drive his value down. Just a thought.

I understand, but as far as Weltman is concerned, he just started putting this squad together. There are teams that wait much longer than 6 year to be relevant. In our nearly 30 years in the league, we have been to the finals twice. I get frustrated also, but maybe I'm being a bit more patient than most.

The way I see it is Weltman is trying to bake a cake, and we keep barging into the kitchen taking one look at the batter and complaining that it's missing an egg or not enough sugar. It's been a day or so after the draft and we came away with quite possibly one of the best players. Do we need a PG? Sure! Do we need scoring? YES! Bottom line is that drafting Bamba only made our team better. We addressed one or our many deficiencies. We still have some assets we can move, players to re-sign, free agency, and our core is young. We gotta give this cake time to bake fellas!!

Exactly. This team needs talent, regardless of position. BPA is definitely the way to go. At the end of the day, the bulk of the minutes will go to the most talented players. The dilemma is that I don't want us to pass on Young and then be wrong and regret it.

I like Sexton. You cannot coach or teach aggressiveness or competitive fire. This team is missing that in such a bad way. I have a feeling Sexton will climb a little and will not be there at 12 or 13. Not to mention he's been coached by a great NBA PG Avery Johnson. It's gonna suck if we have to watch this guy blow up on a different team.
