Harper can easily replace Anderson here. Honestly. Not to discredit Ryno, but he is simply knocking down wide open 3s at a very high % right now. I believe Harper could end up being better.

Exactly. And D12 is the reason he is getting these looks. If we have to ship D12, we need to move Ryno as well. Personally, I believe Harper could be even better once he gets his chance. but I give kudos to Ryan Anderson who is a very good player and a class act.

I will be honest, I do not think Big Baby's contract is that bad. He is still young and is a versatile frontcourt player. I am not a huge fan of the JRich deal though. That should have been 2 years. I don't get that.

A lot of you guys were wrong about Baby, at least I hope that out look continues, but I believe it will. He brings a different attitude..the never say die mentality, that we really needed. A message board habit we all can get into is to post like we are all authorities and can predict how a player will do in a given situation. I guess this is why we all watch the games instead of coach them.

Glad to see people changing their tune on Baby. It is so easy to armchair it and look at stats, but he brings a far better look to this team. We got a taste of it last night. What I am hoping now is that Harper keeps balling and we keep running with Hughes/JJ/Liggins as our reserve wings. That is a real athletic and versatile backcourt. Also Orton..this guy has potential. He really can shoot rather well, and I have been saying it for a while. I think he could end up being a very very good player for us, but we just have to hope he gets the PT.

There is no way Dwight stays with our starting lineup like this. It is really bad. I am at the point where I pray that Harper is good enough to somehow get burn and relegate Hedo to 6th man, and Liggins gets to run point behind Jameer and in 30 games get some starting time. Does that sound insane enough? Because it is. We have nothing..JRich is our "go to scorer". LOL. What a massive fail by Otis so far. I feel like a college football fan begging for the freshman QB to start because the seniors suck so hard. Orton needs to play to..let him see the court for 5 mins a game. Give the guy something.

Thank you. I pretty much posted the scenario the Magic are trying to achieve a few pages back but it seems to be dominated by arguing with a Nets fan.

I am not sure if it will happen or not. It was leaked that the Magic are pursuing Ellis yesterday. The problem is Marc Jackson melted down and does not want to trade Ellis. As a new coach, he does have some pull. I pray he relents because the Magic have a real shot at making this happen if so. It is far from a slam dunk like you are insinuating. What we do know is that the Magic have gone after Ellis. This could set up a huge shift if it happens. Why? With Ellis here running point this year, Dwight could stay. Guess what NJ? We are going after YOUR best player this summer then. Ellis moves to SG and we now have a title contender for years.

It's only Magical because it's just something the Magic are pursuing and is not past that stage. So you are correct. And also Warriors are raving about Ellis and Marc Jackson may say no to this deal. But Magic have to do their work and try.

I think we all know SVG will squash our dreams for the first 30 games or so.
