I think Aaron's high points are higher, just feel like there are too often unacceptable lows still at this point. Wondering if that will ever change. Have to agree about the draft though, pretty much hindsight has not been kind to that 2014 draft class

I'm not part of this but have to say I wonder if we originally went with Tobias over AG, if his consistency would have been helpful at this point. Edit: didn't even read that you guys were talking about the draft and didn't consider house stupid i look for adding this thought here lol

That was the straw that broke this camel's back... I think I tried to justify it to myself for a bit... but yeah. Instant hate. Even if Sabonis wasn't as good as he is now, I don't see how Ibaka could have been anyone's idea of equal value and we had no reason to give up more value for what we got out of that.

It really is a narrative thing though. I wonder how long FVV can keep riding the coattails of a few good playoff games without doing much of anything spectacular since. Same with Siakam. On another team, we have Tyler Herro with people probably saying look he's still scoring while shooting 30% from 3 and taking 14 shots a game. These guys are okay and hard workers and reliable but people are going to use the narrative of the place they're at as if they're budding stars yet when they play here they're just "ok players" and not talented enough. Probably won't happen, but it's a weird year and I would love if things keep up and Toronto and Miami don't make the playoffs

I have never had more time and opportunity than this season to watch my favourite team and honestly if it wasn’t for Cole and maybe appreciating Vuc and AG a bit it’d be beyond pointless. Next season already lol
