Feels really weird to have a local professional prospect getting that much attention. Incredible.

Anyone? Get out from the expense at the end of the year, next years Washington 1st rounder and a couple of young ok guys for the hell of it. My god i'm bored -
I thought that was his entire process... shoot shoot and more shoot. The only time I've seen that dude look up from the ball when he has it is to look at the hoop.

I don't really watch the games much if at all, and I haven't supported Adelaide in a long time. But I saw a game the other day and it does look like the kid has a few nifty euro step moves so maybe his awareness of not being terribly fast won't be such a burden. Now that they've had some roster shuffling in Adelaide as well they seem to actually be playing him as the point or at least facilitator. He's not doing too bad considering the team can't shoot. He is going to have to spend a lot of time on his body though to avoid getting murdered. Even young Jingles had more meat on him.

True, there is enough great assistant's out there to fill out a staff around just about anyone these days. He'd certainly have the clout and the heart of the fanbase.

I don't watch college basketball, is Penny any good as a coach?
-
Was a satisfying tank loss. But the shot distribution was as always disheartening.
-
so... what were you hoping for lol
-
How heart wrenchingly ridiculous.
-
This team still think's it's going to maybe win and not put Bamba in isn't it
-
Yeah I don't see us catching Minnesota or Detroit at this point but I can't see what we're wheeling out there being better than any other single player at all. I think we are safely 3rd worst record.
-
it will have to do
-
Is there anything positive going on at all yeesh
-
And when I can actually watch the Jazz game over the weekend, I bet Mo won't get off the bench. Argh.
-
why is the answer to all the missing shooting more
-
I hate the coaching carousel, but I strongly doubt that Cliff was ever on the radar to be our shot at a truly long term coach

That was what made me post the tank gif the other week... nostalgia. I only lurked then -
Well yeah we do need one of those for sure. Sounds good. Cheers for the info!

Is this... fresh hope...? :D
-
He's projected late 1st apparently, so are you hoping we get another 1st somewhere along the line or? Because hell, I'd be happy with a lottery and a late 1st and pick up wings with both lol

Good idea. I really want Cunningham, like everyone. But I love that Kuminga is emerging as a slightly similar but less heralded player, and then there's still Green. I think that's 3 quality players across the swing positions in a draft we really need to be focusing on. NBA draft: Jonathan Kuminga making case for top pick - Sports Illustrated I really hope this is all serendipity for us. Bad luck for a good future outcome. If we get one of these guys and they are impact players straight away... at this point i'd be so happy that I don't think I'd even care if we didn't dismantle the entire roster but ended up with a talent so overwhelming in their gravity that we truly had to build around them right away. Might be the only way any of us stay sane lol.

Yeah it's kind of getting ridiculous the amount of stop / start injury issues. Isaac, most prominently. Gordon has repeatedly been not ready when he comes back from being hurt. Always seems off or recovering or dealing with something. Bamba had a number of those back in the lineup then not ready moments. MCW. Now Aminu. Surely some of this has to be on training staff.

Just saying, aren't we already in bizzaro world?

I'll certainly say Payton was mismanaged in the sense that he a) should not have been a lottery pick and b) should not have been either in the past or now, a starting PG. How he continues to hold a starting gig is beyond me -

Could we have called up Karim Mane from Lakeland or is he not on the roster at all now
