I just cannot hate any team with Jrue on it

Have to agree with letting RJ and Cole go sometimes if they have even a shot at becoming primary scoring options on any day. Fundamentals and team basketball are absolutely the most important thing but if we are going to have anyone lead the team in scoring on a given day it's not unimportant for them to see what they have in good competition. I think Cliff is at the very least consistent in how he asks his guys to try and play, and I think we have a bunch of guys like Kelle, JI and Gary Harris now that can help keep these two in the right perspective and reminding them to compete on both ends of the court. I don't know why but even if they are not our "superstar" players, JI and Fultz I feel are absolutely ready and capable to be the leaders on this roster and I think the franchise is in good hands. I really feel it's going to translate to success. We just need that big time scorer and some complimentary players.

Not a bad little loss there at all, like Cole's scoring prowess, who gives if he has a couple of bad facilitator games. Did he show something? Damn right he did. I'm going to box score watch the OKC game instead of working lol.

Arguments or no arguments, think this management will get the decisions right for the vast majority that come up and so far they have done what a FO should do in seeing what it has without making a rash decision and treating its best players well enough and when trading them getting reasonable enough value. The worst decision appears to have been picking Mo Bamba and given he has the tools to succeed at a very high level I don't think their entire tenure here needs to be pilloried for that. Mo has let Mo down. If we get a shot here after tonight to pick up an elite talent in this draft, all the other stuff will wash away as that will be the catalyst for change. It changes the mode. It elevates others even if it takes time. Provides foundation. We are where we are, lets just all keep our fingers crossed for some good luck for a change.

I am not watching (am at work), but I do see her Cole has 6 assists to 1 turnover after a couple of bad distribution games. Which only goes to prove one thing - that all good point guards and facilitators take time to develop and if someone is completely 100% reliable as a rookie, they are probably generational talent and are the exception to the rule. The kid is good, his head and heart are both in the right place. I don't much care to take anything else away from what's going on out there right now. Except maybe that let's hope Hampton is on track to being something like a really good secondary scoring option.

Yeah it is absolutely not insignificant that Marion's peak was 7 years of just about 19 and 10 with fantastic D. On a winning team. I think Aaron should be flattered that the comparison's were ever made at this point.

You can be facetious if you want to, I know I often can be! At least the rest of our games are against teams who are playoff bound, really shortening our chances.

I think the punishment should be the karma of having nowhere near the draft luck they had 14-15 years because of how badly they squandered it. They can be middling for a while

Given that RJ is 6'4" and fast as heck... I'm not really fussed if this kid is never a point guard. If he becomes a great secondary scorer I'd be pretty satisfied.

Throwing everything in the pot and see what comes up. Regardless we need guys who can finish games. He seems to be one such player

I know we have a few games separation between us and OKC but the "game" they are "playing" against Indiana right now is just disgusting...

He's too fast for his own good right now and court vision doesn't appear to be a strength lol

Our young man Josh Giddey with some killer court vision against Brisbane tonight. Watching some of him playing for Adelaide you can definitely see the poise and the talent level. It's not questionable at this point. Tonight he became the first player in our Australian competition to record a back-to-back set of triple double games. He started the year off slow and came off the bench and he has just transcended the competition. I watched Joe Ingles regularly when he was 18-19 when I still went to see games and watch a lot, saw a bit of young Patty Mills. I imagine the level of competition here now is at least as strong now if not more so, and his control of the game and how quickly it's all settled down for him in just a few short months is really positive. And obviously I think it's easy to say while Mills and Jingles are "shooters" this kid is just much more of a gamer. He's not efficient shooting wise but he's averaging 11, 7 and 7 in a league that hasn't quite got the same pace and space qualities as the US and I really see him doing well in the LaMelo mold
