I couldn't agree more...I watched all of St. Johns games this season (fan) and his potential is through the roof. To think that he was playing the 4 & some 5 all year (out of position) due to the lack of size on the roster, and still won Big East Freshman of the Year (over the highly hyped Drummond) speaks for itself.... My feeling is if we trade Dwight and rebuild, Moe would be a great for us...but if we are looking for an instant contribution it might be tough

As I stated earlier in this thread, I am a life long St. Johns fan and watched all of Moe Harkless' games this season. If PG is not where we go at #19 I really hope we get Moe, he would easily be a top 5 or 10 pick had he stayed one more year. The kid played out of position all season and still won Big East Freshman of the Year over Drummand. From everything Ive read on St Johns boards, Moe has been told the Magic have him and one other player as their top 2 targets at #19 (take w. a grain of salt since it did come from a message board). Regardless, its good to see we are actually scouting this draft instead of simply drafting a person we never even watched play.

The big hit on him has been his dribbling, but judging by his work out videos from IMG Academy that is no longer as big of an issue. Stephen Jackson is not playing nearly enough in his opinion and that started back in January. Jackson says he and head coach Scott Skiles don't talk. According to The Journal Times, Jackson did an interview on a Milwaukee TV station and said: "We don't have a relationship like I've had with other coaches and I don't expect to have one. Too much stuff has happened." Jackson has been unhappy with Bucks resistance to offer him an extension and in January he was benched for being late to a shootaround. The Bucks would like to move Jackson, but may not have any takers since he's owed $10 million next season. The newspaper suggests general manger John Hammond might be able to deal the swingman if he includes either Ersan Ilyasova or Brandon Jennings. Hammond may end up using the amnesty provision on Jackson in July if he can't trade him by March 15. JR Smith and Dwight have been friends for a long time....Von is apparently on Stan's sh*t list, and if we are trying to make a big trade to keep d12 JJ or Jrich will have to be included

I agree, I think that if we can keep playing well we could easily be a 3 or 4 seed. Sign JR Smith (dwights friend), trade a package including JRich or JJ for a pg & maybe dwight will reconsider....

Well since ESPN is reporting that we may be the favorite to land JR it probably won't happen....But lets assume it does...if we were to trade for Monta (Dwights boy) before the deadline, could he play point guard? Just wondering if he only plays SG or if him and JR could form the most tatted backcourt in the league.
