As for "crippling", no we have bigger contracts on this team that have already "crippled" our future improvements. We might as well continue improving what we got. And if Otis trade Vince during the February deadline, like some suggest, the luxury tax would not be as much as we think. If I'm not mistaken, luxury tax is calculated at the end of the season.
But whatever, to me, the decision isn't really that hard.
wow. i almost always disagree with what you say but this is my exact sentiment. totally agree it's an easy decision.
