We are witnessing the demise of our franchise. Otis has destroyed it. We have the best big man in the league, and possible one of the best in history. We were in the finals two years ago with a team that had a young Courtney Lee, two 6'10 forwards who could hit the three, and really the only weakness being the point guard (and we could have won that finals with Skippy if we would have stayed with him). Last year we made the ECF finals with a new team, but decided it was not good enough and blew it up again, adding J rich (who after being suspended for this game tonight said he would have done the same thing, and MAYBE felt bad about costing the team by his absence), Gilbert the criminal who is done, getting rid of the best back up center in the league in Gortat, and sticking with Jameer who can't guard anyone. Now we are stuck with Gilbert's contract and likely cannot do anything in free agency.
The only hope for us is that Gilbert dedicates himself in the offseason which is very iffy, and that Fran comes over from Spain. Pretty sad when you have to hope for these things. Otis is a major failure and needs to go. If Dwight stays he needs to be sainted. Thanks for listening on my first thread, but I am very upset about what has happened to my favorite team.
