SVG should have been gone since the 2011 playoffs. It's more than clear Dwight doesn't like him. But the problem is, there is no good coach out there. Unless we can get Sloan out of retirement, SVG is here to stay sadly

Ryan played a great game. Bad time to miss an open layup though. Dirk's shot was just ridiculous. Turk played decent defense on him the final 2 trips.

Two years ago this was one of the NBA's marquee match ups and the two favorites to win the title. I remember the good days when there were a lot of Cavs fans trolling around forums bragging about their team, where did they go now?

He did sign JWill actually. JWill actually out played Duhon and won the backup PG spot in December, before Arenas was brought over to take over that spot.

Stan is the problem with this team. If we had Popovich, he'd make our rookies look like legit role players while Nelson JRich and Turk are benched for good.

I know Dallas did it last year, but our championship window essentially closed after losing in 2010, our best season ever. That was when our style of play (shooting a lot of 3s) was not yet exploited and opposing teams couldn't score at all against us in a half court grinding game. Then Doc Rivers found out how to beat us: Stop Vince, Rashard and Jameer by staying on them and letting Howard do the scoring. After that 2010 ECF, we were never the same. Miami formed the big three, so we needed another star to compete with them. Otis *****ed up by trading away all our assets for essentially old, useless trash. We could've had CP3 if we kept on to Gortat, MP while JJ, Anderson and Bass would be a very nice package that Stern might have accepted. Now we're bound to start over again with Otis likely fired. Dwight did a lot with this franchise's trash front office, but his number won't go up the rafters. We're probably going to have to wait another 10 or 20 years until we meet our first Dirk Nowitzki or Tim Duncan.
