Yep, might not be till after the all star break that you see some genuine improvements, were some positives out there though. Franz was really solid on his debut, you can see a decent player there if he can develop that 3 point shot. There was one thing that was unacceptable for me tonight though and that was the lack of boxing out. We are in for a long season if they don't do the basics. Really poor all night with it.

Alway love your optimism but don't see any shocking of the world happening. I'm going for a 21-61 record this season. Hoping for a fast paced playstyle though after being subjected to Cliffords sleep inducing play of the last few years. If the guys are fun to watch and give 100% effort then hopefully that can help stomach all the losses that are about to occur.

Daft takes and over reactions are standard for summer league unfortunately. He had his best game by some margin last night. He is going to get a lot of easy buckets off Suggs and Fultz with how good he is at cutting and he should be pretty solid defensively from day 1. Does need to work on his 3 point shooting as that will really open things up for him to drive past players when they get too close. I wasn't too high on the pick draft night but I can definitely see what the FO like about him. Would like him to work on being a bit more aggressive as seems quite passive but hopefully that's something that disappears once he gets more comfortable as an NBA player.

Brazdeikis and Wagner both could possibly be brought back on cheap deals as end of bench guys, total games played for the season 434 Of the players left a couple played just over half the season, the rest, much less or nothing at all - Anthony, Bamba, Carter, MCW, Fultz, Isaac, Hampton, Harris, Okeke, Ross (10 players) total games played for the season 291. They account for 36% of total minutes played of all players last season. On top of that, Ross and Harris are most likely to be traded by the start of the season or by all star break and MCW likely will see next to no playing time.

Brazdeikis averaged 29.3 mins per game for us Mo Wagner averaged 26 mins per game for us Donta Hall averaged 13.8 mins per game for us Randle averaged 20.4 mins per game for us Bacon averaged 25.7 mins per game for us Thats just the start. Yeah, Same with the playoff contention comments. We're super young and will be very bad this coming season still. I think with Suggs a lot of people have said he could end up being similar to Chauncey Billups which I think is fair if he does indeed work on the above.
