Birch starting again is insanity.

I’m not going to make any opinions on Okeke until he actually plays. It’s just speculation otherwise. As for Fultz, I like the guy but it’s obvious his shot isn’t what it was in college, not his fault but it is what it is. We also could’ve used our MLE in the offseason to add scoring but we went for another defensive minded long boi with a questionable offensive game. To nobody’s surprise he was absolutely horrible this year when healthy on offense. Sorry we disagree on this, but the offense being so bad is half on the FO and half on Clifford. I can’t stand Birch starting next to Vooch anymore.

Amen. The FO has shown zero interest in acquiring guys who can help us on offense. Just more “long bois” because athleticism and length is all we seem to look at. Considering how bad this team is on offense, it’s definitely on the FO and they definitely have lost MY trust. They haven’t made any jaw dropping bad moves like Hennigan, but that is because they aren’t making any moves with any sort of risk at all.

I don’t think it’s a lack of spending. I think this team has become chickens since the botched Oladipo trade. Seriously, the new FO has done nothing but make minor tweaks while refusing to do any sort of major shakeups despite it being obvious we are going nowhere.

Amen. I’m not on the team payroll, if anything I have dumped thousands of my hard earned dollars into this team and have earned my right to complain/vent. I’m not going to claim I know what we could’ve or couldn’t have done. All I know is I’m sick of this organization trying to fool fans into thinking guys like Vucevic, Fournier and Gordon are our franchise cornerstones. If it were only a couple years it would be one thing but this below average trio that fits horribly has been together six damn years. The standards in Orlando have dropped so low it has me sad.

The problem is that this front office is scared to do anything unless there is literally no literally no downside to it. Trading for Fultz was cool, but they did it for nothing. It feels like our front office and organization is scared to death of making any changes and we are going to remain irrelevant because of it. Nobody is ever going to criticize them for trading for Ennis, but nobody is ever going to praise them for it either. Tired of these kind of deals and I’m tired of watching Vucevic, Gordon and Fournier play together when they have been together for over half a decade and it doesn’t work.

James Ennis? I’m not even convinced he is an upgrade over Gary Clark, holy cow this team is a joke.

I desperately hope we make a move today, but I doubt it. Tired of this roster that doesn’t work and all these players who have been here way too long without results to back it up. This honestly feels worse than rebuilding because we just feel stuck in no man’s land with an organization that seems content just not being terrible anymore.

We'll go 82-0 once we get Melo and CP3.

We also got Wince'd in the playoffs.

Melo is not going to Philly, this is turning out like the CP3 thing where he has a list of teams he's interested in. Any team not on that list likely won't get serious about him if he really doesn't want to go there, and he can leave as a FA.

I'm actually not excited for the NBA season at all at the moment. I will be come October, but at the moment the only thing about the Magic I'm excited about is our new building.

Vince Carter is incredibly inconsistent. Some nights he looks like an All Star SG, other nights he is flat out pathetic. Unfortunatly for us, he didn't show up in the playoffs, and with his history, it's tough to expect him to step up in the playoffs again. He's too old and inconsistent for this team to win a ring, he's more of a trade asset right now.

The media was on our bandwagon bigtime during the Hawks series. Most people picked us to beat Boston and then we fell flat on our faces. We haven't won a ring yet and probably will be viewed as the Mavericks of the East until we do.

Anyone buy the game think it's worth it? Is it any different from last year? I don't want to spend 60 bucks for nothing but a roster update.

CP3 would be on the block if he pushed the issue some more, but he backed off and now the Hornets have no reason to deal him. This stuff is likely dead for a while. The silver lining out of this, if things go sour for the Hornets this season and Paul demands a trade, the Hornets will be more willing to take Jameer back without Collison on the roster.

I agree, but he's the third option in Miami...which is pretty scary. I hope egos clash, don't think we have the talent to beat them straight up.

From what I read, your arguement is based on Bosh not being a great player. Which I would agree with, but he doesn't have to be. They have freakin LeBron and Wade. Besides, other than Dwight...who on our team is great? I would love nothing more than to beat Miami, but I don't think we can win a seven game series against them without getting a better #2 guy behind Dwight.

There is no gurantee we could sign some young guy nobody wants and he ends up being good enough to be trade bait. We know what we are getting out of JWill, and that's more important right now. If Jameer or Duhon get injured, I'd like a reliable player to step in and be able to give us solid minutes.

Why do we need a young 3rd string PG? Jameer is our PG going forward for years to come unless we trade for Paul or something, and Duhon is one of three players that is actually under contract past Dwight and Rashard. They both are young and probably are our two PGs for years. We need a veteran locker room presence who is capable of playing backup minutes here or there incase of an injury. JWill fits the role perfectly, and he won't get worn down like he did last year. I'm glad we kept him.

He has championship experience and was solid last year as the backup. For 20 or so games backing up Duhon during Jameer's annual injury, it's perfect.
