we gave the wrong pg in the vc trade. now he is with the heat and for sure he is going to burn the hell out us when we play them again. meer just can't play defense! and frankly his offense is sputtering too. the rondo and alston duels last year were great.

the pic stings man. c lee did a lot for us! and yes he never wanted to leave like the turkey so i agree with the previous poster. giving gortat for lee? while it seems interesting, it would eventually fail. we need butterfingers in the long run and between barnes, jj, and mp, where would c lee fit?

nickanderson nailed it dude fills up the stat sheet and plays hard all the time. he rebounds, blocks, steals, you name it. offense does need a little more help, but i'm sure he'll find it. he gives us the added toughness that we needed. he literally threw danilo into the stands. then he acted like nothing happened. . . hahah lol classic.

easy answer meer has no defense. . . his offense is slightly better than jwill, but j plays better d and moves the ball very efficiently. also jwill is leading the league in assist to turn over ratio!

buttermilk, that is exactly what i'm talking about. however, in the heat of the moment, that screen was not all that bad. howard loves to run pgs like mo williams out of bounds for some reason. and yes thank God, there was no call there. i did not even realize that last year. great video btw!

here it is. . . i'm ok with dwight putting up his hands as he does most of the time. he just does not get the call. it all stemmed from all his b*tching and complaining last year. (he had a lot of technicals esp in the playoffs) The refs are sick of him complaining and don't care to this point if he is an all star or not. Too many players (durant, bryant, james, etc. . .) jump into d12 and get the call. however frustrating it is, dwight needs to stop complaining and suck it up because the refs simply don't like too hear b*tching. i agree, gortat goes for the charge by falling over, somebody mentioned earlier that you don't need to fall over on a charge call. Dwight is playing good defense just by putting hands up in the air. What get dwight into foul trouble is NOT missed charge calls- (it plays a role, but not the reason) dwight has A LOT of stupid fouls from the offensive side and for some reason he loves to bump pgs with his hip off screens. or when he's going for rebounds he has a habbit of throwing the opponent on the floor or out of his way. simply put, dwight needs to play smarter and complain less. once he does this, his 20p 20r games will come much easier.

i don't think that looking for another PG is the fix for meer right now! think about it. Meer is a better offensive player than j-will, but he certainly is below j-will in terms in of defense. the dude gets blown by everyone. see Alston and mo Williams. that said i think we will be fine. now should we drop 4-5 games out of the next 10 then i do believe otiz needs another PG out of the hat trick. should this happen i would say forget iverson the self centered idiot would certainly doom our chances for even getting back to the finals. he is done, washed up and the biggest distraction to any team right now. Nobody wants him and for good reason, Orlando should follow the trend. That said what about Monta Ellis anybody? he wants out of GS and we need a PG. We have the TPE. wow. i agree with deadman. he is right, they just need one more guy and lookout! elite, no, but they are a very solid team that can certainly take down any of the "elite teams" in the east should they overlook the hawks. that said reason they are not an elite team- should something happen to jj, j-smooth, or bibby, they will certainly spiral to a poor season. unlike the best teams who can win MOST of their games on a schedule with key players missing, the hawks simply can't do it. i am a huge fan of J-smith. guy is amazing heart, hustle, great Defense, high flying dunks and blocks. just need to work on his post and jumper.- he is a streaky shooter. -i would abs love for him to join d12 one day. just wishful thinking!

after rethinking this, i'm not actually all that upset that meer went down. the dude hits buckets, but also gives up a million points to the opposing team's pg. exhibit A= Alston who dropped a tripple double on us. Also see mo williams who flamed the hell out of meer. i do think Williams will do just fine, yes the offense will be slowed a little, but i'm sure defensively he is a lot better than meer. also AJ is not that bad! cmon all u haters. Aj did a fine job for us. some nights he even dropped 20+ points. i for one am happy aj will get pt now. and yes i'm sure otiz is back in the office seeing what he can muster up with the tpe/trade possiblities. I miss alston's defense-even though his offense has more holes to fill than jameer's, his's defense in my opinion was much better. alston played rondo well and he chased house all over the court. - he even had the infamous smack on house's head-classic. i miss his atitude. ah well, he is gone. til then let jj follow all the eddie houses of the world and pls teach meer how to play defense!!! i vote that barnes should be jameer's special defensive tutor!
