I thought teams couldnt trade future 1st in back to back years?
-
So wait, boston has brooklyns pick next year too?! In addition to the philly (formerly LaL) pick they just acquired? Sp we're looking at an ECF teams that more than likely has 3 top 5 picks in the next two drafts? We're screwed then, even post Lebron. Boston, philly and minnesota are wayy ahead of us

After watching the warriors, I want to walk away with Monk and Markkanen. Bombs away Really trading up and having any combo of lotto picks would be awesome. Need an infusion of young talent in the worst way. Would be more than ok sucking next yr to develope them (and ag) then snagging another top 5 pick
-
Wait, so I always thought that teams could only jump into the top 3, how did the kings jump to 5?
-
What about #2 for russel and ingram? I would do that, 2 #2 picks for the price of one Still trade portlands pick and vuc to move back up into the lottery
-
Must be that time of year again.. I think we need to land one of the three pgs. Don't know that we can package our 2nd pick with vuc to move up and get one of the elite 6-7 guys on the board but i like patton and collins as big men that can potentially play the 4/5 that we may be able to sneak up and get

Yes, ibaka needs to go. Hopefully some playoff contender throws a pick our way for him. Can't imagine we resign him at this point

2016-2017 Season Discussion Thread

I'm starting to think Henny just isn't a good talent evaluator. Missing out on guys like lavine, booker and turner have really hurt the cause -
Still, he ups that another 3-5% and he is a reliable shooter which will open up a lot of things for him, including MIP opportunities
-
When people say Hill, surely they dont mean Grant Hill, right? The man who crippled our franchise for 7 years?
-
We dont need to trade vuc or byombo, at least until next summer when we see how fa plays out (mainly ibaka)
-
If you consider we essentially traded tobias for biyombo, im alright with that. Offense for desperately needed defense
-
Now GS can ship us Iggy to free up cap space
-
Rumor has it we're interested in jamal crawford. I would actually love this. Sign a couple of older vets to high priced, one year deals then make a run at the 2017 FA class Resigned fournier, one year crawford and cheaply acquired iggy would be my ideal offseason tbh
-
I'd take iggy off golden states hands if they need room for durant. Add conley and we got a stew goin Conley, elf Mario, iggy Fournier, iggy/gordon Ibaka, gordon Vuc, ibaka, dedmon Make a deep playoff run then get an upgrade for iggy next offseason

After sleeping on it, I'm ok with the trade. My only question is should we have tried to trade vic and 11 to move up to get bender instead? If your two stars moving forward are hezonja and gordon (21 and 20 y/o), should you get a potential third star to play with them for the long run? Couldve still signed two max guys to make us contenders over the next 2-3 years until the 'big 3' really started to blossom Then again, phenoix has plenty of guards already. Maybe we tried and it didnt work but i think the pressure to make the playoffs forced the deal we got
-
Jesus a 2nd 3 years from now?! I'd prefer to jus take a chance on Felder and let him develop in the meantime. Oh well, clearly we're not looking to get younger
-
Forgot about Jackson! Him at 41 and I sleep well tonight
-
God i hope not. Hope he doesnt blow up what he's built for a short term fix
-
Id be okay with poeltl too. Dk that we could play him and vuc together tho
-
There's only 3 guys in the draft who can play pf & c, defend the rim and shoot; bender, davis, skal. I want one of those three bc if they'd be perfect if they work out That being said, i'd be ok if we took a pg or traded down for a guard and diello
-
Also can anybody give a synopsis of fords latest mock?
-
just curious, what would everyone be willing to give up to move to 2 or 3 for ingram? He's the only sure fire star in this draft imo. Id give 11, dipo for him. To have a 2,3,4 lineup of hezonja, ingram, gordon would be siiick
-
At least if it did, we know we'd get our 1st rounder from them in 2019. Maybe they go for two years, leave and we get a really good pick
-
A scenario no one has really mentioned is the possibility of signing lebron. Woj is reporting he will bolt to somewhere warmer if they win sunday. Maybe somehwere with no state taxes but still in the easy eastern conference? Somewhere with enough capspace and tradable assets to acquire his allstar buddies? I'm talkin about Orlando. A place where the beer flows like wine and the women instinctively flock like the salmon of capastrona
