So depressed, Just watched the inside the Magic 2009 finals run that aired last night. It makes me so mad when I think about who our team was built around back then Dwight, Meer, Shard, Turk and now we’re stuck with the Magic trying to build around VUC and Fournier... Excuse me while I go throw up

Sometimes I miss Otis, I get being careful and not trying to mortgage the future but this team def needs a starting pg. Give up the 1rst round pick to get DSJ. We’re gonna draft a pg anyways most likely so let’s get him in now and get used to the system and start next season ahead of the curve. We can still trade VUC and get back in the middle to late first round.

All I know is that all of our players look a thousand times better when DJ is having a great game ala Lakers game earlier this season. I would be willing to trade 1 chance at a top 3 pick this year to get a young permanent starter at the PG position.

We have had great odds before to get into the top 3 over the last couple of years and so far we have not been very lucky. Obviously it could happen but I would rather trade for him now than regret it next year, unless you truly believe Rozier is a better option and we can get him in the off season.

Unless we trade VUC and our season goes completely down the tubes it is highly unlikely that are pick would be a top 3 pick. I would rather guarantee ourselves a young PG who has been in the league, can shoot and is ultra athletic who also is a fierce competitor compared to a lets see what we get and hope it pans out pick.

I hope were not playing hardball with them. I think if you can keep BIG and bring DSJ in we will be set up pretty great for the future. I would trade this years pick unprotected if that's what it takes.

Come on Weltham and Hammond, make it happen!!! Would love to see DSJ as our starting pg while keeping BIG. Lets give the pick and Trade VUC to get back in the first round.

I’m one of the guys who doesn’t want Fournier here much longer but I can’t lie this doc does give me an extra level of respect for him. I would like to see more unity between the vets and the young guys, especially on the road.

Why wouldn't the Mavs want VUC over Bamba? Seems much more like a RC type of player.

I would be down to trade our first round pick and Fournier to get DSJ and then trade VUC to get back in the top 15 of this draft. I’m not a cap person so I’m not sure if it can be done.

I know technically we’re still close record wise to making the playoffs but realistically we are the 7th worst team in the league right now. This draft is extremely talented, I say we call the season what it is which is a failure, trade VUC and Fournier asap and run a youth movement line up the rest of the season. Let’s get a high draft pick and hope it’s Zion or RJ

I think when Fans vote they are voting more on names and not on stats, hence why VC, Wade and others have a lot of votes.

I wonder why AG doesn't get a lot of votes for All Star after his performance in the Dunk Contest. Zach Lavine gets a lot of love from that.

Posted in trade thread, but thought I'd post here too. Do people on here think we dont like VUC just because? I think some people on this message board forget who the real VUC is. I even catch myself sometimes thinking maybe we should resign him after this season and then I snap out of it. This guy has been extremely lazy on defense the last couple of years. We have been a laughing stock around the league when it comes to interior defense, not to mention his love affair with EF and their selfish 2 man game.  Could Clif have brought out the best in VUC sure, but I would bet on it being a contract year.

Yeah didn’t think about Ross, just noticed he’s in the row ahead of EF looking back, but the big guy behind is Khem Birch

This is partly why I cant stand VUC and EF on this team... Am I the only one who thinks this is a big deal ?

Does anyone on this message board actually like VUC? Let me ask the question a little differently, does anyone on here want him to be our long time future center?
