I have been really breaking this team down with my friends. I completely understand the trade and I am very excited about the next few years of building. Everyone on here believes we are a shoe in for a top 5 pick the next few years. I feel looking at this team this trade might have made us bad but not bad enough. I am far from saying playoffs but realistically Jameer JJ AA Turk Harrington Nicholson BBD and a bunch of young bigs plus Harkless who I love, aren't going to be the bobcats. I understand we aren't done making moves this summer so we will see but I don't think this team is going to tank as bad as people think.

if we are able to give up duhon jrich and turk or maybe 2 of the 3 and get 2-3 1st rounders this trade makes too much sense. I have been intrigued with afflalo for years. Every year he improves. He is a Spurs/Thunder system kind of guy. Pau can be flipped for some more wing help or maybe a PG and some more picks and I see this rebuild being a lot less painful than we originally thought.

I am at the point where I just want our bad contracts sent off a couple first rounders and Bynum/Lopez. I completely agree Lopez is not worth the max but if we could get him for 8/9 mil a year it wont be too bad. The center position has been taken for granted by us Magic fans. Only about 8-10 teams have a credible center. I am done with all of this and we need to move on. Brook Lopez Andrew Bynum both injury prone but Dwight crippled us and we are stuck.

I am really f'ed up but that's the only reason I am being as honest as I am now. I miss the hell out of Dwight. He is my favorite player of all time and he did great things for this franchise. I am sick of all the hate being thrown around. A decision will be made in the best interest of our franchise by Hennigan and we will move on and continue to support our franchise. Which by the way has been pretty successful for the market it in is and continued to build competitive teams. It could be A LOT worse. Lets be honest with ourselves and get over what has happened. I am pretty sure Dwight does not read this forum but I just want to put it out there. THANK YOU DWIGHT for 8 really great years on and off the court.

If Monta is available I say we offer JJ BBD for Monta and at 19 we take the Sullinger risk. We desperately need a go to scoring guard and I believe in Ryan at PF, especially if we keep Dwight. I don't know if MIL does this. They would most likely want 19 as well.

They will not be able to take back Turks deal and still sign DWill to max. It will have to be duhon or Jrich. I like this deal A LOT.
