Win three games in a row and this thread sure dried up.

Magic need some players that play with the intensity of that Q tip head guy.

I started watching the game and the Magic had 53 points and it was close. For the next quarter and a half I saw some of the most frustrating offensive basketball I have ever seen. This team never (RARELY) cuts to the basket, all the offensive movement is away from the basket. I just don't get it. Very frustrating.

Bamba got 6 fouls on 10 minutes and doesn't even play physical. I would try to trade him before everyone in the league notices how worthless he is.
With the exception of JI and Fultz I don't see much to get excited about so far this year.

TV for tonights game?

I'm really hoping Fultz gets it right. He says the right things and seems to have a great attitude but his shot still looks out of sink with a very low release.

I want this one.

I can't count how many times I've seen the trailing defenders hook or hold one of our players trying to get free. Then you've got the constant reaching and slapping that has barely been called. You've got Lowery flopping all over the place (wasn't flopping supposed to be a foul or technical foul). Wrap that all up with the obvious Kawhi no calls and I'm surprised we are only down 2-1. All the replays show obvious fouls.
I guess all this is why I've lost a little interest in the Nba the past 7 years because its honestly the worst officiated professional sport. I was a Season ticket holder until the strike shortened season burnt me out when the league crammed the full season into a shortened period. I was hoping the playoff birth would relight that passion to become a season ticket holder again...
Raptors are just out physical-ling us and getting away with it. You could see this on that very first call against Fournier. He got called for an elbow when Lowrey was literally laying all over him. If the referee's are going to let that go we don't have a chance.

The team's success has really been due for the most part to defense. Tonight will be no different. We will need to get a better offensive game from Vuc and TRoss but in the end it's about the DDDDD.

I just read 37 pages of this stuff and you guys are great
. Just a few observations. Magic won and some of their best offensive players had less than average games. Toronto seemed to be getting some real home cooking from the refs. This team has totally bought in to what Cliff is selling. The next game and the series will not be getting ant easier, Toronto is a very good and deep team.
Oh and one last thing that I can't believe anyone on here mentioned No NBA coach wearing a suit that looks like than will ever be taken seriously. GO MAGIC!!!

Just got home and started listening to the XM show he recorded earlier, and his first Magic-related comment is: “Don’t you feel bad for the Magic? Now they’re going to pay to keep this team together.” That was before even introducing the win or anything. They moved onto something else.
I can’t fast forward this particular episode so maybe he’s complimentary later on but the dude is just kind of a broken record of cynicism.
I was listening to that too. That dude really has something against the Magic in almost a Kyle Kuzma sort of way. You know LA elitist lebron lebron lebron. Lets just play the games.

Congrats to the Magic. Players, Coaches and Management. I don't think we match up that bad with Toronto, I'll take the seven seed but if we must kick Plilys ass from the six that's okay too.

How does it work with MCW being he has been on the multiple 10 day contracts. When the second one expires do we just cut someone and sign him? It's been amazing the attitude and energy he brings. I really don't think we would be in the position we're in without him.
-
Great unexpected win. How about the bench stats "The Torch" with only seven points. I hope he was saving it up for miami.

They'll have plenty of time to rest after the season.

Just watched the game and the effort form everyone on the team was amazing, You can tell these guys like and play for each other. Win or loose it's great to be playing meaningful games this late in the season. I really think this has a lot to do with coaching. Propps to coach Cliff.

I hope Bamba was watching Mitchell Robinson. That's how a big plats with energy.

After getting waxed the other day by the bulls i would be surprised if they overlook the knicks.
-
Please please don't sleep on the Knicks. DSJ, Knox and Deandre. They are definitely better than they were before the trade deadline. Don't let down, Playoff bound.

Nice early game thread. I guess everyone is Jonsen a little.

I think Boogie is going to the lakers and Vuch to the mavs
