We need to trade Mario right now before he plays another minute!

We have one guy that MIGHT start on a really good team.

I keep checking REALGM looking for our blockbuster 3 team trade of Vuc, EP, Biz, and our pick that brings back a PG that can shoot and a center that can grab rebounds, score, and play D.

Hedo was a MUCH more reliable shooter and even though his D wasn't great he didn't look like a deer in the headlights like Mario does sometimes. It's time to let Mario be someone else's project.

I think we are at the point when we can try ANYTHING and not be much worse than we have been playing.

I'm with you on that one. Unless we have to include him to dump Vuc, Biz, or EP then we should keep him.

IMO they did well with FA this past summer but I think they missed the boat on the draft. I believe Isaac may still be the steal of the draft in a few years but we needed a starting PG much more than a SF. I also think trading our picks for garbage was a bad move, I would have brought in 2 more guys to take a look at. I think Simmons was the steal of FA. Unlike Biyombo he is still producing at the level we saw in the playoffs.

Should have been so in the LAST draft! Instead of trading some of our picks for garbage I would have drafted point guards with them to at least take a look. I would have also traded EP for whatever pick I could have gotten, even a 2nd if that was the best offer. It's been obvious for a long time that we are going nowhere with EP at the point.

I think they might have been busy laughing at Dwight's handles so they didn't notice after he brought the ball back down after almost losing it that he jogged to the rim.

That about sums up what I see in EP too! He would be a better than average backup but being at #33 is terrible for a starter.

I totally understand new management wanting to evaluate the players that we already have. Now that they have all had a chance to show what they have it's time to shake things up and get off the treadmill. Most of the players we have would be great bench players on a competitive team and we have a lot of picks so let's get busy and grab the best players we can.

I don't think we need to tank, we have a pretty solid partial core. If we could just add a serviceable PG that can shoot 3s and stay in front of other PGs, and a decent center that can catch the ball, dunk, get rebounds and putbacks, and protect the rim we are well on our way. To get those players I'm willing to give up any combination of Mario, EP, Fournier, Vuc, Biz, and a 1st round pick or 2. I don't think we should wait until the deadline and get stuck with leftovers, we need to be proactive early on and get the players that we really need.

I guess Jeff isn't seeing the same thing that we all see every game so I thought I'd help him out. Dear Jeff, Vuc hasn't been injured and he still sucks on D. We are getting killed in the paint! By the way nice FA signing on Simmons. Dear Jeff, Biz has hands of stone. Please tell coach to stop running plays where he gets the ball at the top of the key. By the way nice signing on Speights. Dear Jeff, Fournier and Vuc play buddy ball and are holding back the development of our only real star. Please trade them. By the way, AA was a nice signing as a veteran presence in the locker room. P.S. Marios still sucks too. Trade him as well. Dear Jeff, Go out on the court and take a few 3 point shots wearing a baseball cap with no cardboard in the bill. If you can see the rim let us know. Just sayin'.

I think Biz would be OK as a starter as long as we don't throw him any hot passes or expect him to dribble or pass. Passing to him on the top of the key is just stupid. He is here to defend, set screens, and get boards/putbacks. If we try to use him for anything more than shame on us.

Well, the points we give up in the paint almost every night more than nullifies the points we get from Vuc. He's had a long time to decide if he wants to play D or not and the effort just isn't there most of the time. There isn't much market for 5s that don't play D so I'd be happy with whatever we get. If we have to suck for another season (like we already are) and revamp through the draft and trades then so be it. We are not going to get much for Vuc without adding a decent player or pick.

It would benefit us because we would be Vuc-less!

Absolutely, and guys playing lousy or no D creates a lot of situations where other guys have to foul.
