yup! took us right out of a tie for 3rd worst to bottom 6 :D I predicted a while ago that we will pick 7-9 because we will win too many meaningless games (again).

I like the prospects at 1 & 2 better than 4 or 7 :D

Me too! We can only dream. If he can bring his defensive game on par with his offense he will be amazing!

Somebody on our forum has a lot of experience medically with back issues, hope they step in and give us their 2 cents. Personally I don't know ANYBODY that has had back surgery and not continued to have back issues. Many of them have had to have multiple surgeries each with about a year recovery time, and they don't even go through the physical demands of playing basketball. I'm afraid that if we draft him he will be Grant Hill 2.0 and play a handful of games during his entire contract and spend the rest of it with treatments and rehabs. If there is a healthy back problem free player of close to equal talent I hope we make the right choice.

Not high on it ?FTW, it's just fun and I love the ability to keep looking at options with different results in the draft. Unless we go on a very stupid winning streak we should be able to get one of the best projected players and than makes me :D

Wow Tankathon has changed our picks and has us taking Porter 1st, then JJJ over Young in every instance. It also has changed with us taking Ayton instead of Doncic if we get #1. I would love to have Ayton, every time we have been relevant we have had a dominant center. So now they have our order as Ayton, Doncic, Porter, JJJ, Young, and Bamba if we drop to 6th and the others are all gone. Yeah I'm still surprised we didn't take him, I was very high on him last year.

I really like Sexton's desire to win and do what it takes. He MAY be more NBA ready than Young and I see him as an even better DSJ.

What makes me think he'll have a chance is that none of the other guys on his team will probably even make the G league, they suck. Trae is 90% of the offense on his team so other teams don't have to waste their best defenders on anyone else. I think if you put 4 other players on the court that can play with Young at the helm he will be a very good passer, shoot long range when needed, and will make some crafty drives to the basket. My biggest concern with him is his defense. If for some uncanny reason we keep Vuc and his stellar rim protection there is no way we can draft Young, and would need to be looking at Sexton, Milton, or Gilgeous-Alexander if we go with a PG.

I agree. MJ and Pippen were amazing together. Being old I was lucky to see all the greats play back in the day, Laker's showtime, the Celtics with Bird, Parrish, and McHale, Detroit's bad boys, and of course4 MJ's Bulls. I don't doubt that LBJ is the best basketball player of all time but to say MJ didn't have competition is just not true, Basketball was a lot different then too, you could play a lot more physical than you can now. I would have loved to see magic Johnson in his prime defend LBJ!

Dude, you just lost any credibility that you ever had with that statement! Magic Johnson, Kareem, Worthy, Rambis, Byron Scott, Malone, Stockton, Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Reggie Miller, Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, and a host of others might have a bit to say about what you consider "inferior talent." Are you real young and didn't see any of those guys play?

So step up to the plate and be the GM for a minute. Taking the roster we have right now and the cap space we have, what strategy do YOU have that has a decent chance of working?

Following this logic for the few games left this season is not going to make us terrible for many more years. If we don't make some major changes we are already going to be terrible for many more years. We totally suck regardless of who is playing and we don't have any players that can change that. We might just as well ride out the rest of the season with Vuc, get a good pick/grab a great player in the draft, then see what moves our FO make after their year of evaluation is over.

Which is why for the rest of this season we need to play him as much as we can. If we ever get some separation then we can play the others more. Right now we are tied for 3rd worse, let's not rock the boat!

We need to play Vuc as much as we can in those 6 games and have everybody funnel their man towards the middle. Problem solved!
