If we take Young then we should grab another PG like Okobo, Carter, or Shamet in the 2nd round. With Mack expiring we need 2 PGs anyway so if Young happens to be a bust at least we are possibly covered. If we pass on Young and go big we should trade for whatever pick we need to grab SGA, then grab another of the mentioned PGs in the 2nd round plus a shooter.

Houston did not give up even when things were looking bad. I think even if CP3 is out next game they will win it for him.

Yeah and the intensity that Sexton plays at along with his desire to win are nothing like EP.

Most of us never heard of him until the March finals because he was a bench player but the kid can flat out ball!

I will too but I'd rather have #12 & #13 than take a chance on Porter's back. As deep as this draft is getting 2 in the top 13 may be better than taking leftovers in the top 6. We should be able to get Sexton or SGA and a big with #12 & 13 and 2 shooters with our 2nds so I would not be disappointed if we did that.

Not number 1 on mine either but you have to admit his off the dribble passes are amazing and his ball handling, change of speed, and body control are also out of this world. Most of the long distance off the dribble passes are pin point accurate and his lobs ahead of the pack are so quick that defenders don't even have time to turn around. I could see AG & Isaac going bananas with lobs like that.

Even with Harden being totally off Houston is tough!

When you watch Curry hit 3 3's in a row and then go to the hole for a 2 it's hard not to at least consider Young. Curry 4/6 on 3s to finish the 3rd. 14 points in about 5 minutes!

This draft is so good that there very well could be several guys that blow up... I just hope that we get 1 or more of them!

If Bamba is gone and with so many people feeling that Young is too big of a risk, taking SGA and Sexton (I like both players but SGA needs to put on some pounds) gives us twice as much chance of getting a very good PG. DJ has done an admirable job and would be a good mentor and with Mack expiring (trade?) we could use 2 more PGs.

There are a lot of good prospects available in the #12-13 range so if everybody management likes is gone at 6 I'm fine with trading back with the Clips. I think SGA is going to surprise a lot of people but I'm not sure he'll be there at #12.

SGA and one of the centers would be a better/safer haul than risking everything on one possibly damaged player.

My opinion of mainstream media and their prediction skills in any form is that in general they are not very good at their jobs. See Hillary Clinton to win presidency by a landslide. Just sayin'! That being said I would LOVE to get JJJ on this team! He's my 2nd choice after Doncic.

Yeah I agree on Carter. I think what you see is what you are gonna get, maybe even a tad less in the NBA. After Doncic I think every pick is a crapshoot.

Would a game changing 6th man be a bad thing? Can we do better than that at 6 and get a dependable starter?

I would be good with 60% pretty decent dependable starter, we haven't had one of those at PG in a long time. What I'm really hoping is that management is working their tails off with those teams that said they would consider trading their picks and will get us in the top end so we can grab Doncic. IMO he has the most potential/least risk of anybody in the draft.

17 PPG and leading the league in assists on a super team would probably have him going number 1
