Based on past seasons we can't expect more than 20-30 great games out of JI before being injured again. Anything more than that is a bonus! We definitely can't build around him. IMO Smith starts and JI comes off the bench.

I'd love to see us trade our 2 2nds to get into the late 1st round and grab Christian Koloko. Cya Bamba!

How could we possibly not pick him???

I would love to see us get him and prove that he can stay on the court. That would be great. Unfortunately, I just can't imagine him surviving playing against grown men. Guys like Lebron, Giannis, Zion, and anybody else with a big, strong, hard charging body are just going to run him over and he's going to get hurt. He has zero padding. Every time he hits the floor it's going to be hardwood vs bones.

Anybody that can look at Chet and see a future NBA body needs to share whatever they are smokin' with the rest of us. O--->---------< is all bones and skin with narrow shoulders that indicate that he won't be able to put on much weight.

Chet and JI would have great chemistry in suits on the recovery bench. Let's try and draft someone that doesn't obviously look like they are going to get hurt.

And I will be very sad if we pick Chet, he plays 20-30 great games, then gets injured and is out for the rest of the season. I still think Chet gets repeatedly trampled by grown men in the NBA. We already have JI to be our token great player that doesn't play much. If we pick 1st we have to take Smith, it's a no brainer. I'd love to trade back a bit and pick up some assets while drafting Sharpe.

From the photo above Jabari looks like with his frame he could end up built like Dwight. Chet, on the other hand does not have the frame to end up built like KD. 0-->------<

I want Weltham to come out and promise based on the constant injury results with JI, we won't draft someone that visually looks like injuries just waiting to happen. No stickboys!!!

I could be wrong, but I think some people question his defensive consistency.

I would think all the top guys are considered at 1 until they actually work out for us. I would hope that they base their decision on interviews and performance rather than they hype from writers.

The closer we get to drafting and the more In read, I think Sharpe has the best chance to be that generational player that is a real game changer. I'd be OK with Jabari or Banchero, but I honestly feel that Sharpe is the go to scorer that we so badly need. If he rocks his interview and floor test, Weltham will have to make a hard choice. As long as it isn't stickboy I'll be happy!

The main difference between Chet and real NBA players is the width of his shoulders. Medical sources have claimed he can't gain very much weight at all. He will be trampled and crushed by grown men. I'm hoping that the FO has learned from the Isaac experiment.

IMO it's a good draft with several potential all stars, but I have to question the durability of Chet. I just can't see him adding more than a few pounds on that skeletal frame.

If he played good D he would be my 1st choice. Too much matador defense from the Vuc school of defense.

From Twitter, not my opinion. Jabari Fans - Don't overthink it, he will learn to dribble, playmake, and shot create. Chet Fans - Don't overthink it, he's going to gain 50 pounds, and beat the 7 foot unicorn injury curse. Chet/Jabari Fans - You're over thinking Paolo who doesn't have these concerns!

Yeah, and I would hate to give up WCJ. If we can add some decent shooters for him to play with I have a feeling he is only going to get better and better. JI, our 2 2nds, next year's unprotected pick, and taking back a contract to match JIs could move the needle?

If there was anyway remotely possible to end up with Jabari and Sharp... I'd give up JI and some picks and take back a contract to make that happen!

Who we need is Sharpe. The question is, do we have the balls to take him #1

I can't believe anybody can look at Chet and see a durable NBA player. I'm sure he'll be great, but I can't buck the feeling that he'll be JI 2.0 as far as injuries.

In 1 of the March Madness games I watched him swipe at the ball as a guard dribbled past him on the way for a layup. Reminded me of Vuc. I remember so many games that6 teams had layup drills against Vuc.

The problem with common sense today Doc, is that it is no longer common. I look at Chet and can't help asking myself how many times those unpadded bones can hit the hardwood before there is a serious injury? If his frame gave ANY indication that he could add any substantial weight, I think all of us would want him. I can't imagine him gaining more than 10-15 pounds, and from what I've heard there has been a lot of attempts to beef him up already?

OK, so let's say for a moment we draft stickboy. He plays great, but matches JI with injuries and games missed. Would he then be a good pick, or a bad pick?
