Every deal Otis made would have been fantastic if any of the players continued to play the way they were before we got them. Unfortunately none did except Rafer. That being said resigning JRich in spite of last year's play is beyond ridiculous!

I would have tried like hello to get Gortat able to play the 4 so we could use twin towers for the next 5-7 years

As much as I hate to say it because I really love Dwight on this team... after the ASG we either need to get him the help he needs or trade him with some of our garbage and bring in people that want to play ball. I've got people in my Y league that play better than most of the MAGIC have 4 of these last 5 games. Anybody on the decline needs to be gone and replaced with people with potential to get better!

In spite of being 12-7 and losing 3 of the last 4 games to teams we should have wiped out we are in good company: San Antonio, Dallas, and Portland are all 21-8 The Lakers are 11-8 We may have sucked recently but it isn't the end of the world, we'll be back!

All of the teams in the NBA are professional basketball players. In the playoffs it comes down to who's hot and who's not. If the team with the most talent goes cold or has injury problems they could go down in the 1st round. A team in the middle of the pack can get hot and step up and roll through the playoffs. So yes, I believe we have a shot with this squad. If our guards ever get on track...

With the Laker loss to Indiana today if the playoffs started right now the Lakers would be out! Even with Bynum's improved play they are going to be desperate soon... Dwight, Hedo, JRich, Baby, and Duhon and picks for Gasol, Bynum, and Kobe. Meer/Wafer Kobe/JJ QRich/ Kobe Gasol/Ryan Bynum/Gasol/Orton

When this team is clicking on all cylinders I think we can beat anybody! RA for MVP with an average of 9 3s and 12 boards every game through the entire playoffs, Dwight goes 20-20 and 4 blocked shots, Hedo 15\9\9 with 2 steals a game, Meer 15/7, JRich 22/5 and the team defense keeps everybody in the 80s :D

As long as we have Hedo we don't need our PG to get 8 assists. We need a PG that can bring it up and get the ball to Hedo, get us a few quick drives to the basket, make 3s, get us 5-6 assists on his own, and funnel guards toward Dwight when they drive. Sounds like Jameer to me.

The problem with including Hedo with Dwight if we want to keep our inside out game is that we need Hedo to get the ball inside or else replace Jameer. If we trade for Bynum we still need someone to get him the ball when he's got the opposing center sealed and that just plain is not Jameer. I say we move Duhon with Dwight and go for a better backup PG.
