IMO if true Otis's statement about not wanting to GM without Stan is because Stan's brilliance is the only think that made Otis's roster not look like a complete and utter disaster.

Glad Otis is gone, loved most of SVG but on the other hand with him gone maybe we'll see Turk on the bench and Duhon in a suit handing out towels.

I love both players on our team! If I had to choose 1 to replace it makes more sense to trade Ryan as Baby has proven he can step up as a starter and JJ needs to BE the starter at the 2

I'm not sure about the Lakeshow but the C's definitely crank up the D in the playoffs and KG emerges as the star he was.

Hey Captain, You've been around long enough to know that the way the game is played changes in the playoffs. If you can get home court with a 60+ season from running and gunning then shore up the D for the half court game in the payoffs you are in excellent shape.Defense starts with Dwight. I'd love to keep Stan and other than the fact that he plays Duhon I think he's a great coach. I would rather keep Dwight if we have to make a choice but if Stan's gone I think running gives Dwight a lot more points and boards... especially if Mike D can help us get Nash.

For 1 thing if they don't run they don't play. I think Mike would have played Ish over Duhon immediately because he can push the ball. If we got Mike D we'd have to get a defensive minded assistant, win 60+ during the regular season then hunker down on D for the playoffs. Without Dwight we have no D, without Stan we still have Dwight. Mike D, Nash, Dwight, is a real good start for a championship team.

Keeping in mind that Dwight can run faster than any other center I think Mike D's system would give Dwight 30+ a game... especially if we get Nash! It's real simple, get rid of Otis and SVG (I love Stan but if it means 5 more years of Dwight), sign Dwight long term, buy out Duhon, get rid of anybody that can't run the floor at high speed. Get 60+ wins during the regular season then settle in and play D for the playoffs. Nash/Ish JJ/JRich Anderson/QRich Davis/Clark Dwight/Fran or FA Everybody runs full speed and crashes both boards, we don't play much D, we sub a lot, we win!

Me too! IMO Otis is gone for sure and Duhon needs to be bought out. Dwight is the most important piece of our team. If we have to lose SVG to keep Dwight then so be it.

Taking Anderson's name out of the equation: What is a 6'10" PF that has a nose for the ball, gets lots of offensive rebounds, leads the league in 3s, so-so on defense, and always plays hard worth? Ryan is one of the few players we have that is actually worth something on the trading block. I say we keep him at 7M or less... a 1 year deal would be great so we can see where we stand with Dwight for the future.

I also voted Pizza. I know weird things can happen in the playoffs like Miami and Chicago both getting knocked out in the 1st round like we did last year. Hedo=Pizza... sometimes it's awesome and sometimes it's like Bisquick with unspiced tomato sauce on it. It just depends on which Hedo shows up. Nothing would make me happier than all that rest and the urgency of stepping up in the absence of Dwight making Hedo Finals MVP LOL

I have a friend that got a DUI 24 hours after his last drink. If you drink A LOT it can stay with you for a while... ever wake up still drunk after an 8 hour sleep?

But the Laker's players are not happy with Mike Brown and his game plans. I'm of the thinking that it was the assistant coaches that did the decent job in Cleveland.

I don't WANT to promote anybody over SVG... but choosing between him and Dwight is a no brainer. Yes I think Barkley would be a great coach! He tells it like it is and IMO he would be a players coach. I would be concerned about him getting a lot of techs though. DA? There's no reason to think he wouldn't be a great coach (but then again I'm a successful/positive kind of person) most great coaches started as an assistant somewhere. College coaches? Coach K, Bill Self, Jim Boeheim, Tom Izzo, Jim Calhoun, John Calipari, Roy Williams, to name a few No, not Mark Price the shooting coach, Mark Price the guy with the great BB IQ. Of the others you mentioned probably not although Clyde might be interesting

I think you missed the sarcasm... it would be really hard to have stats that bad! I have supported this team since the beginning but I don't believe Duhon is qualified to play in the NBA :D

Ish may not have won the game for us but it would have been very difficult for him to equal Duhon's stats. These numbers take a lot of experience and expertise in understanding our system! I didn't pay attention to what kind of mic it was but if they use Shure SM58s (they should) you can submerge them, drop them, run over them with a truck, and they still work. That's why so many bands use them and we use them in our DJ biz :D

YaBoyR- has Dwight been to the Chiropractor for an adjustment on this or just a doctor? I've had a bad back for 20 years and the Chiropractor is the one who fixes it... doctors can only give you pain pills and therapy that really doesn't fix the problem.

IMO Duhon has clearly demonstrated that he is not the answer to run the second unit. We have blown so many big leads when he is in. I don't know if Ish is the answer but at this point of the season we need to consider making some kind of change and we have a handful of games left to try things out. Hey if he sucks we can always pull him and put Duhon in.

I'm hoping it gets found out that Duhon missed the shoot around because he was still drunk from the night before and ends up in a suit until we buy him out. I'd take my chances with Ish any day even with a small sample after the large samples I've seen of Duhon. How many games do we have to give up a big lead that the starters built with Duhon in before EVERYBODY realizes he just plain sux? I say we rest Dwight, Turk, and Duhon until the end of the season and then decide if we need Turk or Duhon to play based on results of the extended minutes for Ish, Wafer, etc.
