I think AI would be worth at least bringing into camp on a non guaranteed to see what he has. I read somewhere that Hedo agreed to change his contract to a partial guaranteed in the last year in order to get out of Toronto.

LeBron WAS everything they had to trade away. Had they seen this coming (like we do) do you think they could have received a great PG and a couple of picks for him?

I wish some of the people that put other people's trade ideas down, pick them apart, and insult the poster, would submit some trades of their own so we can all get a better idea of what a good realistic trade looks like.

Actually after flipping Martin for a pick we end up with a good PG, expirings, 2 extra 1st rounders, and get rid of everybody we don't want. This gives our new GM lots of flexibillity to bring in people that want to play hard for our new coach and lots of future cap room. Just curious DOM, if we have to trade Dwight what do you have in mind?

If we have to trade Dwight his worked in the checker Houston out: Dally Scola Lowry KMart #14 & 16 Orlando out: Howard Turk Duhon JRich #19 IMO both teams get something they want: Houston gets value for Lowry and gets Howard and still gets a pick Orlando gets some decent players, and extra pick in a good draft, and loses Turk, JRich and Duhon's deals. If Dwight doesn't agree to sign long term we have to trade him before the season starts to get max value. I like this 3 team deal if the Nets get the 1-3 pick: Suns trade Gortat and Nash S&T Suns get Lopez S&T and Nelson and cash Nets trade 1-3 pick, Lopez S&T, Morrow, Brooks, and Green Nets Get Dwight, Turk, Duhon Magic trade Dwight, Nelson S&T, Turk, and Duhon & $3Mil Magic get Net's 1-3 pick, Gortat, Nash, Morrow, Green, and Brooks We see if JRich resurges with Nash or trade him at the deadline for a pack of gum and a TPE

Actualy I think Ish, JJ, Green, Anderson, and GORTAT would be pretty strong with Baby, Clark, and Orton only getting minutes at center as Gortat needs a breath. I take it you haven't seen Green play? The combo of 2 great 3 point shooters, a fast point guard, a center that hustles, and a strong slasher taking it to the hole sounds a lot better than Duhon JJ QRich Clark Orton doesn't it?

If we do have to trade Dwight and the Suns would do Lopez S&T for Gortat I would be cool with that. I knew the hammer would put up good numbers once he started and the dude flat out hustles! This is predicated on the Nets landing 1-3 pick. Nets trade 1-3 pick, Lopez S&T, Brooks, Morrow, Green, and fillers to make $ work Suns trade Nash S&T and Gortat Magic trade Jameer, Dwight, Duhon, and Turk and maybe one of our rookies or Wafer to make $ work Nets get Dwight, Turk, and Duhon Magic get Nash S&T, Gortat, Morrow, Brooks, Green pick 1-3 filler Suns get Lopez and Jameer and maybe one of our rookies or Wafer Gortat, Orton,Clark, Anderson, Baby, Morrow, Brooks, Green, JJ, Ish, Liggins, Harper, JRich, QRich, Wafer, and that 1-3 pick is a nice start, and don't we have a TPE and a MLE? YBR, has Dwight considered that if he asks to be traded before the season starts that Brooklyn really doesn't have the pieces to make a good offer unless they draw a top 3? He will go to the highest bidder and could end up in Toronto or who knows where else but I know from experience that cold weather is not good on a repaired back.

IMO if true Otis's statement about not wanting to GM without Stan is because Stan's brilliance is the only think that made Otis's roster not look like a complete and utter disaster.

Glad Otis is gone, loved most of SVG but on the other hand with him gone maybe we'll see Turk on the bench and Duhon in a suit handing out towels.
