We need some better players. AG and Simmons are the only ones I have been consistently happy with. Payton has been a lot better lately but I'd still trade him if we can get a PG that can shoot 3s and plays good D.

I'm so looking forward to the day when I click on RealGM and there is news of a totally unsuspected trade for Vuc, Fournier, Mario, and our pick for 2 great players that will put us up to the next level.

I have to say I'm impressed with the way EP has been shooting and getting to the hole lately.

That last Mario airball? SMH. I can miss like that and would be willing to do it for 1/2 of what he gets paid.

No matter who our so called "starters" are we need to finish close games with our best 5 defenders. DJ-Ross-Simmons-AG-Biz. I hate the way we just dump our starters back in the last part of the 4th regardless of how they are playing.

What's to worry about, we might lose a bunch of games in a row? Oh....

I want us to trade Vuc, Mario, and EP. We need a PG that can shoot, a center that can defend without being a liability on offense, and Mario to just be gone. I think Fournier is still salvageable. I would also trade our pick for the right guy in a deal.

At least our new front office made it very clear that they are going to evaluate our players this season. I just wonder if they are going to evaluate the entire season or will they get to the point when they realize that switching out a few bench guys and adding Isaac doesn't do enough to make up for the PG that can't shoot, the center that doesn't play D, and the SG that sometimes ignores the best shooter on the team?

He's an average PG but he's better for our team than EP. He plays very well with the starters, see past winning streak.

You are right, I do have Payton issues, as should we all. But it is not the only thing I talk about, it's just the only thing I post you comment on!

Speights plays better D than Vuc sometimes. I wish he was younger and/or had more energy.

Speights surprises me sometimes. I know we brought him in just to shoot the ball but he rebounds and plays halfway decent D sometimes too.

I would in a heartbeat if we can get a taker for Vuc. We need defense and rebounding from our 5 spot and right now we are getting killed in the paint.

It already is! Having a PG that can't shoot negatively affects the entire team.

That makes sense, but with as many losing seasons as we put together in a row I think the immediate result should have outweighed the "maybe, we hope he becomes..."

So why do YOU think we passed on DSJ?

I have been on the get rid of EP wagon for a long time, and he isn't doing anything to make me think he has improved. I still think the reason we didn't draft Smith was that we couldn't get even a decent 2nd for Payton. What team wants a PG that can't shoot, and what was it the announcer said... he's only gotten to the line 7 times this year?
