Seriously 30 second after say Mort or Shefter reported something on twitter this bob guy would post the same thing in different wording. It was comical and the guy gained like 10k followers just that offseason from doing that. Also a prime example of what he does is what he just posted on Lin. The only time he goes out on the limb is when it;s something obvious like everyone knows the Knicks will match Lin's offer sheet its been reported for over a week now. Then when it happens he will take a screen shot of his post and paste it on his website and brag about how he was first when it's old news to begin with.

Wrong I'll take the Bynum trade all day over the new Houston trade. The new Houston trade is saying you guys will take back Jason Richardson as the one bad contract. Well lets not act like Houston is doing us any favors there, while he may be a bad contract to us because of our overall cap situation he is only making 6mil a year. Now if you're taking back Hedo plus Jrich then sure I understand the less you give up. Kmart+Parons+Lamb+TOR pick for Jrich and Howard is a hell of a deal still for Houston. If Houston isn't taking back more than one bad contract then Parsons + Lamb are a must to start with and the Raptors pick. If they aren't adding Parsons and just offering 1 rookie plus Martin no way should we do this deal.

It makes sense though Hennigan is getting rid of all the long term contracts, Jrich and Big Baby have 3 years left and Hedo only has 2 years left with 2nd only partial guaranteed.

I've been thinking the same thing that Houston must not be offering us anything we want like it has been reported but the Scola amnesty kinda changes that because maybe the whole time Hennigan just wanted Houston to free up more cap space. So really if this Houston deal is real and the Scola amnesty was related I think a deal could go down tomorrow or very soon.

I really confused on why the Cavs get a pick, let alone 2 picks. Wasn't the whole point of the Nets finding a third team for Humphries was to land us another pick?

Sweet so now we have 2 late first round 2013 picks, a late round pick in 2015, and another late round pick in 2017. I would rather have that single Raptors lotto pick than all those trash picks

Sad thing is if we did this trade last year we could of got the Nets lotto pick plus multiple future pick and got rid of Hedo and Jrich now we are just getting rid of Jrich and getting late-late first rounders

So basically Lopez, some cap shed, and 3 late first round picks for Howard? If this goes through this has to go down as one of the worst trades ever. I just don't understand why ANYONE would want a CENTER who can't play defense. Not to even mention the contract he is probably going to get. How is the Houston trade not better than this? An actual lotto pick is better than anything the Nets are even offering us.....

I really think it is. I mean if you just think about it the Nets gave away every expiring contract they had to Atlanta. They can no longer take on Hedo or Jrich in this trade, so do you really think a third team is just going to take on either of those bad contract for nothing? And where are these great picks coming from? The nets will have nothing but late first rounders, their sign and trade with Humphries isn't going to get anything good but maybe a late round pick (See Ryan Anderson sign and trade). I mean the Nets are out of assets, they have no solid picks or real ways to give us cap space anymore, really it's just Brooke Lopez and late round picks. High Way Robbery. is correct Hollinger.
