Yea, Vince choked on those FT's. But we should have never been down to begin with. The blame can't be put on one man. Every time VC misses a clutch shot it also means the team put him in the position to have to make it.

If we retain JJ, yes, I think the team has improved. If not, we will have to see who we pick up.

Every time someone talks about how Vince 'never does what we got him for' I just think back to his clutch downtown 3 to tie against the Hawks, and how it was all overshadowed by a complete brain fart by the refs and our team.

I tend to agree with the OP. I think Vince has shown a lot of hesitation fully committing to the slash (pulling up ridiculous jumpers, jacking up dumb 3's etc.) and I think the reason is because he genuinely fears injury. Considering this next season could be his last hurrah, it won't surprise me if he goes balls to the wall vinsanity and either ends up playing great or getting seriously injured. Either one of those scenarios should make the VC haters happy...right?
