How about "Magic...The Gathering!"...err.... wait, I think I have heard that before... Magic Militia? Prestidigitation Nation? Magic Divi-nation? Divination: noun...synonyms=Magic, Belief, Forecast, faith, oracle, intuition, insight Magic for the Massess? Magic Madness? Blue Crew? Conjuring crew? Blue Bloods?

^^^ I much prefer fishing the salt water as well. or lagoons and such, htting the mangroves for the snook and reds cant be beat. neither can they be beat as table fare as well - I guess maybe I would say a good Mahi-Mahi would suit the table just as well. I have only found the time to make it offshore once this year so far - Gotta talk my buddy with the offshore boat into goin - or atleast lettin me take it out - which he does let me do. Here is a story of my last trip before this past weekend - We hit up Boca Grande Pass for Tarpon, but also slayed some snook and red and others as well. I didnt write this one, just along for the ride - I gott get my buddy to post the pics from it. Well, we got a coach... now we have a couple of weeks until the draft and free agency opens up... Its time to talk FISHING! Its gotta be better than re-explaining why Jammer and CA are both entitled to nothing this upcoming season. This past weekend I went out to the Ole' fishing grounds - Hit up the Indian River and Mosquitto Lagoon early in the morning, lookin for the redfish tailing... Didnt see much action out there, only took a few casts at them with the cajun thunder poppin cork and 3.5 inch white Berkley Gulp jerk shad. The water was pretty stale, not moving and heating up quickly. I didn't have my boat with me, so I was stuck along the shoreline, sightfishing the grass beds with little hope of even landing anything... Packed her up and headed over to the goto spot 11 at Canaveral National Seshore (Playalinda)..BTW, spot 13 is infested with dad dong and knee high boobs - not for the faint of heart... but thats a different story in itself. Rigged up the Shakespear 10 foot and 8 foot, got the sand spikes in place and threw out a couple of pompapno rigs into the surf, It was pretty glassy out there, so a 2 oz weight sufficed just fine. we ended up slayin sharks all day--mostly bonnetheads but a couple of little spinners as well. A nice Blue was landed as well as some decent whiting - had the notion to start throwing them in the cooler but decided against it. We were also catching a load of croakers - they were slashed behind the gills and split down their tails - onto the 10-ought hook and swam way the eff out - we got lit up by several sharks on that pole - couldve been big blues - but I doubt it - Didnt land any of the big guys that day ... But it was a decent day of fishing... anybody else like to fish? got any tall tales? reports? pics? anything? I designed/run/manage a fishing website - a community sorta site like myspace / wikipedia / reports / message board / hotspots/ weather / gear / tips / rigs / baits / techniques .... basically everything you can think of or need to know about fishing.. If anybody shows any fishing interest, Ill drop a link. I get reports in from captains and Joe Angler's all the time, they are posted on the site, but I can repost some of the better reports over here if yall want as well.

Jameer and CA are about the same guy. They both bring nearly the same game to the table. I tend to believe we will use Jameer over CA, is it fair? no, but its realistic from what they seem to be committed to. The only reason I would pick Jameers game over CA is because it comes cheaper..and we can wait to see if its worth the paycheck.. My advice to both of those guys is to work on their outside game, BIG TIME, it sucked out loud last year. Up_tempo does not necessarily mean off the break. Its gettin into our offense earlier. Both need to work on that, Quit holding the rock for 6-8 seconds once your up the floor, quit lookin to isolate or take his man to the hole. ... Once you get those down... MOVE...OFF the ball.. run circles around the three line to the baseline and around again. We will have other options to go to, creating to the hole. catch on the move and POP that outside shot you learned, or once your man is in the air, then use your drive. Work on your D, its pathetic. You arent goin to be relied on so much for your offense, DISTRIBUTE, DISTRIBUTE . Then move, It will create plenty of opputunities for others, and yourself. Whoever it is ....needs to step it up ...both of you. the same performance as last year wil be unacceptable. Work on your attitudes, they need a major adjustment..its not me first and its not me only either... leave the egos and BS at the door Whoever gets the job... they both need to make some major changes to their game. atleast in my opinion. I think both are suited better, equally, to being the second team guy, where their game is more appreciated as the SPARK. and we don't need you both to do that, we should only keep one of yall... So either one of yall that gets reprogrammed better, cause what both of yall were doin was complete crap, an embarrasment to the PG position, should get the job... thats if everything was fair..but like I said ..it isn't. I just got to readin it all. I must have missed it this afternoon.. Good Bump. Theres ALOT in there. Im surprised to hear him say we shouldnt expect to finish any better next year..as far as wins go that is.. I know he gave the reason of the general improvement elsewhere in the east... but I def see a better record, There were plenty of games won by players and lost by coaching..The players will still get those wins plus more with the added experience, but the coaching should improve much more as well.

What would be nice is if we had a PG who could hit the three ball, Looks to create for others rather than himself, hustles for the sake of the team. Moves off the ball, not just with it.. Not necesarily lookin to go to the hole everytime, and bring even more defenders with him into an already congested area with our bigs.. spreads the floor a bit.. Especially if we pick up another scorer... why do we need a guy who looks for HIS shot everytime down the floor. Man..A Dude can dream.....OH WAIT... WE GOT ONE OF THOSE!!!...Diener.

Jack "Believe" Daniels found this article which has mention of SVG salary and a lil blurb about maybe bringin on some guys.... Van Gundy joined the Heat as an assistant coach on Sept. 20, 1995 and took over from Riley as coach on Oct. 24, 2003. He left as Heat coach December 12, 2005, after recording a 112-73 record in his two-plus seasons as coach. It is possible Van Gundy seeks permission to bring some of his former Heat staff with him. Van Gundy had grown particularly close to Bob McAdoo and Keith Askins during his Heat coaching tenure, with the two now serving on Riley's staff. Van Gundy also is close with Erik Spoelstra, but Riley's lead assistant is now viewed as Riley's eventual successor. I dug this little tid-bit up...... "The Heat emperor has all but promised his successor will rise out of his own staff, with Erik Spoelstra and Bob McAdoo the candidates. In the Van Gundy mold, Spoelstra is a gym rat non-player, but how does Riley sell choosing him over McAdoo, a Hall of Famer who has apprenticed for years under Riles?" looks like Riley is grooming these guys to be his successor... Man that would really stick in his side if they came over here....and it would leave the Miami oraganization staggering to see the past 10-14 yrs of work run out the door in one singular week.

MFB I see you missed posting one of MC revelations, Ill will pick up the slack for you on this one.... this was yesterday evening as well.... "How can the Magic now be turned down by 2 head coaches? The first is simple, Billy "the Kid" was just that a kid. The second being Stan Van Gundy really took some turns around 5pm today. Attorney's for the Magic contact them today saying they were close to an agreement with Billy. The Magic thought Stan would take the job and a news conference was to be planned later in the afternoon. I was told this around 10am pacific time, so around 1 pm eastern. I was expecting to see the news conferense on replay when I got home from work tonight. Well I just got home and obviously did not see anything but Stan head to my end of the country. According to my source(s) here is what occured. First is the now well publicized fact of Riley wanting compensation through a wrench in to things for Stan, not the Magic. Second is the fact the negotiations with Billy hit a major snag when it came down to the damages the Magic are seeking. On Stan's side what I was told is there is not a clear end to the Donovan divorce saga and the Magic believe Pat Riley made the decision easy for Stan and told him he did not want him going to Orlando and would have to negoitate with the Magic before he could accept a job with them. Leaving for Sacramento there was no compensation issues. What to do now? Ugh as much as it pains me, I some how new PJ will now be the default coach based on who Otis had on his original "short list". Here is the thing Magic fans, you have about 2 weeks to disrupt this from happening. An out pour of emails need to be sent to Otis about your feelings about PJ. There is no need to bash him or the Magic for the Billy situation because it has nothing to do with them, it was unavoidable. Ownership & management stepped up and offered the most money they have ever put in a contract to a head coach. In my opinion this Billy thing needs to go away. As soon as it does the Magic need to hold an open forum like a town hall meeting and do some healing with its fan base, central florida leaders and the local & national media. This should be a story of how the Magic are still going to do all they can to make this team and organization better. So a deep breath should be taken and start a completely new coaching search. There should be absolutely no urgency to put a new head coach in front of the media until there is a little time to heal over this entire situation. That is just my opinion. because I was out here when PJ got choked by Spree and I can tell you this is definitely not the coach for the Magic young guys. He would be Brian Hill part 2. My insider(s) even went as far to ask me to put in a piece about fans possibly emailing Otis about not hiring PJ. (so I did) Wes you may want to change your name to the web site to DONOTHIREPJ.ORG" take it for whats it worth people.... nuthin!

If the swap is true - I dont mind it all, Like others said, gives us even more incentives this season, we best their record, yet will still get a higher pick - that is if we best their record, and I really think they are goin to pull up lame again next year

Now this by no means, is official, or anyhting, especially since I cant find it anywhere... but two seperate guys here in my office.. say the deal was one of our second rounders this year... and a "flip" of first rounders next year.. I asked them if it was conditional... they said no.. I said like a Gamble? he said kinda - from what he says - no matter what happens, we flip picks with them next year in the first round, basically they would be gambling that they will be better than us next year.... I called malarchy on the guy - that sounds ubsurd, but then another dude came in said he heard that too... like I said, I cant find diddly on it - and it smells like BS, I guess they will tell us later in the day... cause Im not buying these guys story.. especially after I couldnt find it where they said they heard it from.
