it also means that Minnesota would have the 3, 7, and 11th pick... even losing Garnetts monster salary - it think its about 7 million in gaurunteed money for the draftees. putting them dangerously at or close to cap level still - all that for a rebuilding team? Law is athletic, can shoot on the perimeter and plays hard all the time. More important, he has the leadership qualities this team so desperately needs. and Smack its not about LilPenny hatin on Jameer for personal reasons.. Its his game.. Hes undersized, Turnover prone, finger rolls into defenders armpits, looks for his shot first, and not a true Point Guard. Why is it so hard for people to understand that we should have a point guard....playing the point guard position... square pegs dont fit into round holes

^^^ and dont get me wrong guys - All I want it a good product out on the floor. In my opinion politics, public relations, and business should not guide our team. My thinking is a superior product on the floor would accomplish the same thing.. which is a huge fanbase, community support and tix/merchandise sales... but in this world, Its not all peaches and creme. Its a sad fact that the business side of the game dictates some of our decisions. In a perfectly fair world, where unicorns dance and pigs fly - we would have this level playing field where "everyone gets a chance next year"... but, like I said. This is not the case, or the way to build a team... If we can move anybody (except our untouchables), Im all for it.. I want to win...not be fair- and see who works out... Its not new news that I dont care for either Jameer Nelson or Carlos Arroyo - It has nothing personally to do with them or how many fans they have on this board... It has everything to do with their game.. We are looking at putting together a starting unit out there that has all the weapons we need.. We need a guy who isnt thinkin in their own head they need be another weapon and to make SportsCenter on a nightly basis. We need a floor general who can direct those weapons, and has an outside shot to keep defenses honest. neither CA or JN fit that role. And to rehash just about every arguement on this board.. whats the need to have two of the same guy out there, personally I dont want either of them out there as a starting PG. Is it to be fair and see what they can do?? Eff that.. Ive seen what both of them can do and IMHO, its not much in the way of a true PG and the type of player we should be using at the point. Whatever is best for the team, and produces the best for us. is what Im for as a Magic fan, and not a fan of a player.. If we can use either of these guys to get our team into a better position, I see that as being way more valuable to the Magic than anything that CA or JN will give us next year.

well, Fan-royos... The Dude is not one to have a source, but I was just told that CA isnt goin anywhere... atleast for the next month or so.. My "source" (not the magic insider 8-ball this time... and rather than call him my source, I will just call him a co-worker, as he really isnt a source at all... im getin off point here,so I digress)..... but, word on the street from high up in the Business Dev. side of the Magic Org.. is that a certain county commissioner will be placated by keeping him in town, atleast until the arena vote, word from my co-worker, who actually talked to the high up magic guy, is that she has pretty much directly told them that CA swings her vote...whether thats good business or not I'll leave that for you to decide, whether we should be building a team around a players ethnicity rather than skill set seems like garbage to me.. I will not stand 100 percent firmly in saying that this a for sure thing..like I said, I am just passing along information from a guy at work who I know has ties to some Magic brass.. take it all for what it is worth...whcihc is nothing at this point, just thought yall might find it interesting

Just said he's comin up - they just took a call about CA.. I hate the shot doc, but he made me laugh...he called JN and CA feeble in their attempts at point, and said any other team in the NBA doesnt have this garbage even sitting on their bench, much less discussing who should start.... the funny thing is I couldnt agree any more with that asessment.

Well, we got a coach... now we have a couple of weeks until the draft and free agency opens up... Its time to talk FISHING! Its gotta be better than re-explaining why Jammer and CA are both entitled to nothing this upcoming season. This past weekend I went out to the Ole' fishing grounds - Hit up the Indian River and Mosquitto Lagoon early in the morning, lookin for the redfish tailing... Didnt see much action out there, only took a few casts at them with the cajun thunder poppin cork and 3.5 inch white Berkley Gulp jerk shad. The water was pretty stale, not moving and heating up quickly. I didn't have my boat with me, so I was stuck along the shoreline, sightfishing the grass beds with little hope of even landing anything... Packed her up and headed over to the goto spot 11 at Canaveral National Seshore (Playalinda)..BTW, spot 13 is infested with dad dong and knee high boobs - not for the faint of heart... but thats a different story in itself. Rigged up the Shakespear 10 foot and 8 foot, got the sand spikes in place and threw out a couple of pompapno rigs into the surf, It was pretty glassy out there, so a 2 oz weight sufficed just fine. we ended up slayin sharks all day--mostly bonnetheads but a couple of little spinners as well. A nice Blue was landed as well as some decent whiting - had the notion to start throwing them in the cooler but decided against it. We were also catching a load of croakers - they were slashed behind the gills and split down their tails - onto the 10-ought hook and swam way the eff out - we got lit up by several sharks on that pole - couldve been big blues - but I doubt it - Didnt land any of the big guys that day ... But it was a decent day of fishing... anybody else like to fish? got any tall tales? reports? pics? anything? I designed/run/manage a fishing website - a community sorta site like myspace / wikipedia / reports / message board / hotspots/ weather / gear / tips / rigs / baits / techniques .... basically everything you can think of or need to know about fishing.. If anybody shows any fishing interest, Ill drop a link. I get reports in from captains and Joe Angler's all the time, they are posted on the site, but I can repost some of the better reports over here if yall want as well.

What kinda deal are we thinkin that Chauncey wants?.... Have we heard anything oe are their any reliable "ranges" out there? with the right moves...we can throw some money at him... we seem to have the propensity to do that of late. also, the ole..ST Grant to pistons would be on the table...
