Heres probaly a dumb question, but can NBA salaries include incentive based bonuses? If Otis and Jameer and everyone are so confident in his game, let him prove it.. Sign him at 4 per, thats what hes worth and backload the contract with some stipulations.... is that possible? I think 4 per is way fair considering whats out there , what they have gotten, and what we are gettin from it. If their is a possiblity of incentives, I say let him prove his worth on top of his contract, if there isn't consider this post nixed. I know in the other professional leagues you can do this, just not sure of the NBA.

Been playing very well this summer. He had a little stretch at the beginning of the game the other day where he was off a bit but other than that... 40% from the field, 75% from the line.. 11 pnts per game. 7 boards p/g, 3.3 blocks p/g, 3.3 assts p/g in about 31 min p/g

The last day of Summer League, I wonder what we can expect..

Most around here base their arguements on "lets see what he can do" " or "he should play better under SVG, wait and see" or "his game comes cheap and we can still see what he brings".... You guys and Otis better be right... because we are not waiting to see what he can do, we are placing our future in his hands, his unproven, turnover prone, poor decision making, bad defensive, hands. Unless SVG can change EVERY aspect of Jameers game, the money we are about to fork over will not be worth it.

Im gonna play devils advocate for a second here, but before I do, Let me say this: Looking forward, its all we can do now- no need to lament what if's, this sucks, this blows, eff that, fire this guy,bla,bla,bla, I like the product we are going to have on the floor. The second we moved on from BHill, that was greatest improvement this team needed and did. It will allow ALL of our guys to actually play within a system that we are definalty built more for playing, and especially given the addition of Shard. The speed, attitude, movement, and scoring should make us one he11 of a team to watch. but........ The PG situation is nothing more than POTENTIAL - neither of these guys has ever flourished for a season in a starting role. They have had their times, that I cannot deny.. I think we are all in agreement that both are capable of doing much better, Under SVG I am sure their quickness, passing, and mobility will definalty be a better asset, but lets not paint our glassess blue here. We need alot better play out of either or both of them or we are really goin to see were we are thin at.

Well, I was looking at some numbers, with out counting in our QO that we have handed out and some questions about Frans cash, is this correct..Im thinking out loud here and tryin to make sure I have this right, and what yall are thinkin this means.... Money already committed next year: Hedo - $6,373,900 D12 - $6,061,273 Battie - $5,200,000 Arroyo - $4,000,000 Pat - $3,818,750 Keyon - $3,586,000 Trevor - $2,710,800 Boguns - $2,710,800 JJ - $2,000,160 Jameer - $1,961,609 Augie - $687,456 total: $39,120,748 reported deal with Shard 6/yr... $18,400,000 (does the entire sum of his first year go on our books?) that puts us at $57,520,748 while the cap is set at only $55,630,000 We are so already over the cap! implications?
