  1. wow over 14,000 views. does that mean we have over 14000 illegal immigrants
  2. Think about it. Lakers get Pau Gasol and all of a sudden get to the nba finals and the number 1 seed. Last year I believe they were the number 7 seed. Boston had the worst record in the NBA and makes it to the NBA finals as the number 1 seed. Biggest rivalry in sports is Lakers vs. Celtics. Boston hasnt won a title in 22 years and hasnt made the playoffs in several years. Now, its them in the Finals. The last time both number 1 teams made it to the NBA finals was I believe Detroit Vs. Lakers in 2004. The ESPN Analyst predicted Lakers Boston in the finals since the All Star break. The NBA finals is pretty obvious rigged. Dick is the referee and he supposedly is under suspicion of rigging games with Tim Donaughy. So I guarantee that the Finals is going to go to Game 7 just for money and Ratings. The NBA Finals have been declining in Ratings since Nets Vs. Lakers. Do you think it is?

NBA is Rigged. Especially the NBA Finals

  4. I say its New Jersey vs. Los Angeles Lakers- 2000 San Antonio Vs. Cleveland- 2007 or New york vs. San Antonio- 1999 lockout season
  5. Dwyane Wade says he keeps hearing his name mentioned in trade rumors involving the Bulls and Miami Heat. Would the Bulls give up the No. 1 draft position to the Heat in exchange for Wade and the No. 2 overall selection? Or some combination of other players and picks? "I have heard my name being talked about, and I can't worry about it," Wade said Monday at the Attack Athletics training facility on the West Side. "There is one thing in this league that you have no control over. If another organization wants you, then you should feel good to be wanted." Wade grew up idolizing Michael Jordan while starring at Richards High School and then Marquette. "I have a lot of history with the Bulls," Wade said. "And for them to come out with the first pick like that (with a 1.7 percent lottery chance) ... it was fitting that they would do something like that. Nobody thought that would happen. To be in that position and sit back and listen to anything and go back to a team and say: 'How about this? and 'How about that?' ... If [the Bulls] don't make any big moves like that, they're still going to have a great player." Memphis guard Derrick Rose and Kansas State forward Michael Beasley are expected to go 1-2 in the draft. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors;_ylt=AuIg8WoY61mcKE3uEFMi_nqC0bYF I heard about this on PTI also. If this is true i think miami should take it. Miami needs to start rebuilding and if they do this trade Miami is going to suck in the next 2-3 years
  6. the best bet for a PF would be Haslem but our rivals wouldnt do that. Or we go for PF in the draft
  7. instead of saying no give him a reason. Artest we can get but not along with Josh Smith. If you wanted Josh Smith you would need to Trade a player along with him. Josh's qualifying offer for next season is only 3,167,882. He of course will want more and we could get him if we trade some pieces. Pietrus is Manageable if we just sign him with the MLE. If you want Maggette the only means is by Sign And trade. Kurt Thomas is clearly only going to get vet minimum along with Jason Williams. If you want realistic then no you cant get all. Out of everyone you mentioned new on our team we could get 3 of them. I think the most realistic ones would be J-will, Pietrus, and Thomas
  8. What if we traded Dooling, Cook and future 2nd round pick for Maggette, Then signed Haslem with MLE and traded Arroyo to Miami. Then signed Jay williams to vet minimum
  9. What if we traded Dooling, Cook and future 2nd round pick for Maggette, Then signed Haslem with MLE and traded Arroyo to Miami. Then signed Jay williams to vet minimum
  10. I think we will actually switch to a big man that can play SF and PF. The magic are more then likely going to draft big because this draft is full of them. Also, the MLE could be used on a SG because there are full of them this year in free agency. I still think we will solve our point guard backup with Jason Williams and I think we will land Pietrus for a SG. Battie isnt our answer for PF. Hes going to be rusty in his year back after the injury. So, that means were going to need to fill in a PF and I think we can do that by trading Redick, future 2nd round pick, and sign arroyo and trade him for Miami Heats Haslem. Haslem is a young guy and very aggressive as a rebounder. That would help us with the big man problem with having Howard, Battie, Cook, Gortat, 1st round pick preferably Dorsey
  11. we already have 5.5 mil going towards an MLE. Does that mean we now have 6.7 mil to spend on a free agent.

  14. Look at it this way. He was crying on the floor. they had to carry him to the back and put him in the wheelchair. The clock was around 6:49 remaining in the 3rd quarter when he went down. The clock was then around 5:33 left in the 3rd quarter when he returned. Bostons crowd was dead before the injury and thats why they were trailing. Then he all of a sudden comes back and the crowd gets pumped. Boston is full of cheaters. First New England Patriots with spygate, then Curt Schilling of Red Sox with the bloody sock incident, and now Pierce of Celtics. Give me a break. Just a desperate Franchise that will do anything for a title; even cheat

    arenas has opted out!

arenas would make 12,800,000. the magic only have 5.5 million to spend unless we trade some contracts. If we trade Redick and Hedo thats enough for Washington in a sign and trade deal to make us give Arenas a 4 year long contract or even 5 years. So our lineup would be small Nelson Arena Lewis Battie Howard

if this was the 2003 playoffs i would speculate the orlando detroit series being rigged

    arenas has opted out!

I feel bad for Arenas. The only teams that can afford him are like the Knicks and Dallas. Jamison is just a little over the MLE. I think if we trade turkoglu and another player we could do it.

  20. During his six NBA seasons as a player, Otis Smith never had the opportunity to play on a team that challenged for any kind of a championship. The Orlando Magic general manager and Jacksonville native was usually surrounded by mediocrity, including a front office that lacked the vision or right circumstances to join the NBA's elite. Smith had none of those handcuffs restricting him in his first two years of running the Magic show by himself. Many of Smith's moves, along with his relentless drive to keep employees on task, laid the groundwork for Orlando elevating itself from a non-entity into a legitimate contender. With the team moving in the right direction, the Magic made a no-brainer move Monday. They rewarded Smith with a multi-year extension, reportedly through 2011-12, ensuring him the chance to bring Orlando an NBA title as franchise center Dwight Howard enters his prime. But the ex-Jacksonville University and Forrest High star wasn't taking any bows just because the Magic added serious dollars to his bank account. For Smith, an old-school guy and idealist in a materialistic world, working in the NBA has never been about making money. It's all about holding the gold ball trophy. "I won't feel validated until we win a title," Smith said in a phone interview Monday. "I've put a collection of players and a coach [stan Van Gundy] in place, but the goal isn't to get to the second round [of the playoffs]. "You don't celebrate winning 52 games or a division title. I want more than that." The Magic, who promoted Smith to sole GM in 2006, feel confident he can deliver on his ambition. Since the Magic had the NBA's worst record in 2003-04 and Smith gained more power, the team's performance has steadily risen. Yes, he took serious heat for absentee first-round draft pick Fran Vasquez (2005) and the unproductive J.J. Redick (2006). But Smith's biggest moves - selecting Howard over Emeka Okafor in the 2004 draft, unloading locker-room cancer Steve Francis, the signing of free agents Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis, the hiring of Van Gundy after Florida coach Billy Donovan backed out of his deal last year -have the Magic feeling good about overtaking Boston, Detroit and Cleveland in the Eastern Conference. "There's no major reconstruction at this point," Smith said. "What good teams do is tweak here and there." The Magic have locked up Howard, 22, for the next five years. If he can improve his free-throw shooting and get away from double teams, the Magic have the big man that can lead a franchise to the ultimate goal. Orlando certainly has a boss willing to go all out for a championship. Unlike most GMs, Smith tries to attend every road game (he's missed four in two years). He wants to play whatever role is necessary - pop psychologist, warden, counselor - for the Magic to win. "I have to keep my guys in the right frame of mind so Stan [Van Gundy] can coach them," Smith said. "Teams need to be managed 24-7. From my standpoint, it's doing what fits me." After a decade of being irrelevant, the Magic found a good fit when they hired Otis Smith to pull the personnel strings. It's only fair to see if he can lead them to the NBA mountaintop. http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/060308/spf_285715111.shtml

    JASON WILLAMS

i think jason williams is 99% likely to sign with us.
  22. I think all of our free agents will leave except Dooling, bogans. Foyle will opt out. Then we move Turkoglu down to SG and Lewis to SF. In the draft we get a SG to back up Turkoglu like Brandon Rush or if turk doesnt work out in preseason at SG we move him to sf and lewis PF. Then we sign Jason williams and trade for Haslem. That trade would include signing and trading arroyo, just trading JJ Redick, and our 2nd round pick. If Miami picks rose that means there going to keep haslem and i think we should trade for Smith from Atlanta. Magic would have a dominating lineup and that will fill the spots and make our bench very defensive. We could even sign pietrus with our MLE and that is a 50/50 chance. Nelson/Williams/Dooling Turkoglu/Pietrus/Bogans Lewis/Rush Haslem/Battie/Cook Howard/Gortat Or Nelson/Williams/Dooling Turkoglu/Bogans/ Lewis/Rush Haslem/Battie/Cook Howard/Gortat
