OMG this is the thread that just wont die... AND I LOVE IT!

Wow, this is actually pretty big news, and IMO doesnt belong in the 'around the nba' section. Even though most people didnt think would come over, he is still our pick and his rights were considered an asset. With him resigning, that asset becomes worthless and it closes the door to any sliver of hope some people still had of him playing in the NBA.

Simply amazing... Any inside info on the lotto numbers? Ill split it, I promise

quote: Originally posted by Magic Fan 3:Good. Why would we want Jefferson? Him and Dwight on the same team is redundant. One is a very good offensive player who can play off the block, but it kinda 'meh' on defense, while the other is a great defensive player who cant leave the low post and is kinda 'meh' on offense. How is that redundant?

If its 'one last' it must be a dead deal

Just in case anyone is wondering about any "buzz," etc. Not saying I'm in on every trade talk the organization makes, but once a deal is set in place/close to done, I get a heads up to get things ready for the web site. Curse you!! Rumor smasher!!!!

As much as I hate Glen Davis, you never want to see someone not be able to stand on their own. Thats scary -

The problem is, now all the refs will have a bias against us because Orlando got "one of them" suspended. If you think the refs didn't like us before just wait
-
Yea theres no run left in the Bucks. They had their run, we are getting Atlanta just expected from the beginning.

quote: Originally posted by and1mixtape:Stern called out Stan "It's corrosive," Stern said. "It's corrosive, and because of the pressure cooker that is the NBA playoffs, over the years I've let it go, but when you hear a Chicago coach say, 'Oh, they're doing it because' ... or, 'This game was lost because NBC wants an extra game,' and you hear a New York coach say, 'Well, what are you going to do? [Michael] Jordan gets all the calls.' "Or you hear a Stan Van Gundy do what he wants to say and then the players join in. We know, inside the community, what it's meant to do, so, 'OK, it's playoff time, everyone's crazy so back off,' but, if I had to do it again, I would stop it and the price wouldn't be a modest $35,000 fine. It would be whatever a day's pay is and then two days pay and then a week's pay. "And if someone wants to try me in the rest of these playoffs, you know, make my day because the game is too important and I don't think that the people who trash it are respecting it and we'll do what we have to do -- to players and coaches alike." http://sports.espn.go.com/los-...ews/story?id=5127532 Ive never hated David Stern more than I do now after reading that crap. It is blatantly obvious that the officiating in basketball is terrible, players see it, coaches see it, fans see it. Instead of seeing this as a potential problem and doing something to fix it he shuts them up with threats of more than $35,000?!
