Considering the potential of the Warriors moving Monta Ellis I would be very intrigued to see him in an Orlando uniform. To contribute to this thread: 1. Chauncey 2. Dorrell Wright 3. Lebron 4. Scola 5. Dwight 6. Afflalo

Chad Ford "rips" Otis for mis-management of our salary cap! (ESPN Insider)
nbr replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Firstly, rehashing this thread is justified. The element of contract talks involving Rashard Lewis etc. at the time was established with the thoughts of this period and present state of the franchise today. With the position this franchise is in it is completely accurate to suggest that Otis must dig us out of this and with that said, I still have a belief he can and will do that. As a GM he's proven himself as someone who will be active in the market if necessary. I wish him well, cause its a task and half. -
Pretty self explanatory, I'm giving it some thought. What were your the most memorable or best performances from our Magic in the 10-11 season?

lol. I got up and about in this thread! Considering where we are as present. hmmmmmmm -
Its clear as day what we have to do to retain Dwight. He's big market internationally, at least in my opinion. Money isn't a problem. He wants to win and if he can do that here and has a supporting cast that attains the same belief. The question is do we have a GM and ownership who can provide the latter? That is the question. Ultimately Dwight remaining here, doesn't depend on Dwight, but the decisions of those in the front office and the players.

Ship that was a good game. Philly are a handy team!

I don't think I can go past the Spurs game. They were legit and as you pointed out we were ballin' with the new guys!

+ BRING BACK THE SUPERSONICS. What a name.

Orlando Magic: A more attack minded offensive/defensive team that brings it consistently and with intent every night. NBA: introduce a hard cap. This alone may in fact minimise the appeal of bigger markets? (To some degree anyway) NBA rules: Enough of offensive players initiating contact when a player has left his feet. P.s the boards are fine.

Trade Rumor Heard on ESPN Radio this morning

Considering the possibility that Fran may make the move, makes it looks quite handsome as well. -

If we acquired Iggy and Tayshaun at a loss of Hedo + JJ/ Ryan Anderson, or both, I'd be pretty happy about that. -
Though the labour agreement may halt the process, it is no better time than now to see Fran Vasquez apart of Magic basketball. I've battered this guy for so long and in my opinion for good reason, but time heals all wounds. His matured game and size would be welcomed by me with open arms. I want to see Fran in a Magic uniform. Test your talent against the best in the world Fran and do it in blue!

I don't believe we ever had to get rid of Shard. He was exceptional in 08-09 season and than Vince came along. He never co-existed well will Carter and I feel that put a stranglehold on his game. I feel that Otis should've and could've solely tried Richardson and Turk alongside Lewis. Biggest blunder to date is obtaining Arenas. However, I still have faith that Arenas can provide some value to this roster, but it will only to come with his own dedication/work ethic toward this program and himself.

I never thought I would welcome this player, but I would love to see Fran come over now. Whats the potential of this happening this offseason?
-
Size is definitely a key in this game. We need to improve in height and width. We need to get taller and stronger.
-
So much credit to our superstar Dwight Howard. The guy battles each and every night and continues to improve. So impressed!

To summarize from my end. The game plan and structures in place are pathetic. Watching this team over the course of the reg season gone bye gave me very little intrigue to our abilities to contend for an NBA Championship. The inconsistent displays of intensity, endeavour and execution from this squad are ridiculous with the talent we have. In its current state (inc. management) this team is not legitimately contending and I believe we should be! The tools are their.

Game three and this is where he's at. These questions should have had probable solutions a long time ago. Not good enough. Its for these reasons and quotes I could point out long before that have me believing when this season is wrapped up, we shall part ways. He brought so much and I commend him for that. Wish the guys well for the remainder of the playoffs, but it'll be short lived.

We'll be lucky to win a game if we go through.

Valid. But we're not exactly implementing players of little talent and experience are we? Not asking for his game plan. Just bemused by his choice of words and this being of issue right now. Though it may seem, I'm not using SVG as a scape goat. Otis is well and truly involved in this. The coach is given what he's given and as I highlighted earlier he wasn't exactly handed scrap. I want to see this franchise win a championship. I'm also of fear of the possibility of losing Dwight Howard and if nothing changes in this off season, I'll have a greater concern. This program with its gm, players and coach aren't going very far soon to achieving the ultimate goal. I'm looking at SVG because I believe the tools are their to be a force and contend consistently with result. I don't believe he can get us a championship. I'm looking for more than a successful regular season.

Ebay is a great avenue to source some clubs. However, be aware of counterfeit products. If you do your research, you should be fine. Online shops are another alternative. The best thing for you to do is speak to a professional fitter in your area. Fitting whatever clubs you buy to the player is imperative and will have you enjoying the game two fold. In the meantime, become aware of the product out their. Your bag will most likely consist of a Driver, Woods or Hybrids, Irons, Wedges and a Putter. At this time you will be looking for game improvement clubs. All manufacturers will have clubs to suit, Adams, Bridgestone, Taylor Made, Cleveland, Callaway, Ping, Srixon etc. Get out to demo days and visually see what you like and feel comfortable with. * One tip - In your Irons buy forged clubs, rather than cast. If you end up enjoying the game an annual fitting will be ideal. Cast metal has a memory and is not the best for bending clubs to spec as it will return to its former state. Forged is the way to go.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, he's presently available to sign an extension before the new CBA comes out? -

I truly believe he'll stay and we'll obtain CP3 in a sign and trade deal (even with NBA owners) -
don't care for him.
