Well i'm happy. Im intrigued by his game. Nice pick Orlando!

Harkless surely goes before 19? Favorite prospect of this draft by a long way, Bradley Beal! 18 years old , raw talent and to play the game the way he does, wowww.
-
The draft is and should be the foundation for small market teams to build upon. Nice move. We had to improve this area of the franchise.

At #19 I like: Andrew Nicholson Jeff Taylor Marquis Teague If they slide to us, PJ3 or Terrence Jones Something I really like about Nicholson!

Sign Patty Mills. Biased because I'm Australian, but not foolish. The kid can play and has a good head on his shoulders. Recently announcing that he'll hit the free agent market, he's a very intriguing target for anyone. Watching him since he was young, he was always a pro and he's been through the right systems. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/221576/Report_Patty_Mills_To_Opt_Out_Become_Free_Agent

Love it, bold move going with the young gun. But this what you have to do sometimes! I repeat LOVE IT! I'm actually excited. Now let Jameer walk and bring in Patty Mills!

So all of you guys like the idea of Patty Mills right, cool. At least we're on the same page. I have a story on an encounter with Luc Longley, would you like to hear (I'll just assume yes, like the patty mills thing)! I have no doubt I brought this up at some point or another. But I live in Melbourne, Aust. Luc is a Melbourne boy as well. One day my father, brother and I were collecting the groceries in the largest shopping mall in the Southern Hemisphere (today). Anyway as we line up to pay for our goods, I see this 7'3' mofo. Now! I had all the Upper Decks when I was a kid, I know my players. That said, no fool couldn't recognise Luc Longley. Sooooo I point out Luc to my father (pun). I'm not game to walk up and get an autograph, so Dad goes up to him and this 'guy' flat out denies that he is in fact Luc Longley. Need I say again, this 7'3' s.o.b lies to my dad and effectively his children. Lucky I was 8 or something, I would've beaten his arse! BTW its a true story, not a very good one, but true. NOW THAT WAS A KNIFE!

In regard to Scott Skiles as intriguing as it would be, I'm of the opinion that he needs us more than we need him. I would have Brian Shaw before I went for Skiles. + Shaw deserves a shot.
-
Id take anyone out of the Spurs factory.
-
He's 70 years old and done amazing things, but his time is up. Heard about Scott Skiles, that would be intriguing.

No to Sloan. Great Coach, but lets not go there. As for the GM i'm hooked on Pritchard, he did some work with those Blazers! Huge props.
-
All I want for Christmas in July is a GM with business acumen and a love for the game and a coach like Pop.

You never know what you have till its gone. I wasn't a big fan, but I'm I upset that he's gone?
-
It was time. We should be thankful for the success that they did bring.

The Otis Smith Appreciation thread....

He made some terrible moves, but he did bring us some success and optimism. IMO it ws time to part ways, but he should be commended for that. -
I'm up for change.

Stan Stan Stan, (lol) love it! The consensus in the NBA realises the abilities of Stan as a coach in this league and with that said I think you got 14 guys who play for you and would acknowledge that ability. Dwight, what a dick. Love the press confrerence video and the way you cast yourself into the ring of fire only to back peddle to the usual 'winning a championship' bs. Unfortunately i think Dwight will win out and this organisation (IMO) will become a true laughing stock. -
.500 record without JRICH; -.500 since return

You can't disregard the young guys and their enthusiasm and i'm dumbfounded that we continue hear the ' we didn't play hard enough' line. Get JJ in the starting lineup and play the youth. -
In his cameo appearance of all but 10 minutes, how did he look? I missed the game.

Open to trading Calderon?
-
Yeah I just think he's become complacent or caught up with the system, one or the other. He's extremely athletic and I wish he'd create mall when he gets the ball in his hands, but I don't know.
-
Jameer looks like a shadow of his former self.
-
He doesn't look or play aggresive. I really hoped that when he arrived he'd attack the rim more, but he's become complacent with his shot in a system that will allow him to do so.

The Official Dwight Howard Everything Thread
nbr replied to Drain-O's topic in The Thread Hall of Fame
Just in regard to Dwight i'm not even keen for him to remain at all. Regardless. This guy has given up on his teammates by opening up his mouth. When you request a trade that exactly what your doing, giving up on the men who go out to battle for you night in and night out. So my thoughts are, piss him off and piss him off sooner rather than later! He has every right to test the free agent market and that should've been his public announcment. Some of these NBA players are dumbarses.
