A little more $$$ than I would have liked (4 year, $18 million) but it's a good fit. Should be interesting to see how he's used.

  4. Orlando Magic Daily talked to a New Jersey Nets blogger who had some interesting insights into the recent trade for V.C. It's a different perspective but I found it interesting. Interview I don't think this has been posted, if it has, sorry and lock it.

    Turk to Miami?

It was so sad to see you so depressed. All I could do to make you feel better was go out and party just because you felt so bad. lol I didn't say it would happen, I said there was a good chance that it would. I'm not going to promise anything unless I am 100% sure of it. This is a message board where you hear rumors. The first one about J.J. came from a journalist I talked to, the other one from my father...pretty sure neither is lying. Like I said, read into it as much as you want but nowhere did I say it would happen, I said there was a chance of it. In fact, I

    Turk to Miami?

I know this will probably catch some slack but I don't come on here in spread rumors. Take the following at whatever value you see fit. My father was at the airport in Miami today (going overseas) and his flight got delayed. While he was waiting he was sitting next to the Great Pat Riley. He overheard Riley calling Otis Smith inquiring about Hedo Turkoglu. He didn't hear much else, hewas just calling to find out what's going on. My dad isn't one to b.s. and neither am I. Like I said, take it for whatever you like, but that's what he heard and what he told me.

    Orlando done for tonight

I know there's a draft thread but thought this deserved it's own thread. The team said it woul not make any selections tonight, OrlandoMagicDaily.com For the first time ever, the Magic will not select a player during the draft.

JVG says VC is to REPLACE Hedo

That would be an ideal scenario and might not be too far off.

Is J.J. gettin' traded for a pick???

Dont know how that works, just heard it from the guys at Orlando Magic Daily. Unless I'm going blind from looking at numbers all day I don't see anything in your link that talks about JJ Redick...JJ Hickson yes but where does it say JJ Redick? There was nothing there about Redick. I think he has him confused with JJ Hickson. IMO Redick will be thrilled to getting back number 4 on his jersey again. You could say it was his good luck number. That's my signature, not a link to the post, sorry for the confusion. The info I had was from discussions with some other journalists, I dont have a link. So at what website were you talking to these writers maybe we can find what you are talking about??? OrlandoMagicDaily.com, but it's not on the site, I am friends with one of the writers and we were discussing it earlier.

The info was just from talking to guys who cover the team, no link.

    Shaq to Cleveland Done

    Marv Albert is a clown

So I don't think chalking it up to being his trademark is fair, the dude was biased through the series and always had more "yes"s for Cleveland than Orlando, it wasn't an accident. Wow, I think you may need medication bud. Counting the number of times that Marv Albert says "yes" in a 3 hour broadcast is "shouldn't live on your own" insane. Magic fans love feeling like they are always the underdog. Or maybe we are just use to it and success makes us uncomfortable. Thanks for posting again in this thread Peter. We're good. All sarcastic "bud"'s and personal attacks aside, it was like 9-3 from what I counted. So that's actually a pretty big discrepancy. Sorry if I noticed a large descrepancy in the amount of times a professional broadcaster that is supposed to be unbiased cheered for the most marketable player in the NBA. The thing is though, I'm not "insane," he did cheer for the Cavs and I think the amount of times he said "Yes" is indicative of him not being objective, which is his obligation as a journalist.

Can the team use the Mid-Level Exception again this offseason if they chose to go even further into the luxury? If so, who are som possible options? -Glen Davis -Sean May Raymond Felton Leon Powe Brandon Bass Linas Kleiza McDyess Jarret Jack Travis Diener Trevor Ariza Hakim Warrick Mike Wilks Luther Head Charlie Villanueva Rodney Carney Shelden Williams David Lee Al Harrington Chris Wilcox Thoe Ratliff Channing Frye Drew Gooden Paul Mislap (probably too much) Brevin Knight Mehmet Okur Kyle Korver Juan Dixon Eatom Thomas Just throwing some names out there, I know some might be worth a little more than $5 mil and some are worth much less. There are some options though

Why wouldn't Alston and Nelson be able to be on the same team? Alston really didn't handle splitting time with Jameer well and he will be playing even less next year. It could have been the situation and the way SVG approachd it, but he was not happy with Nelson playing as much as did. Just not getting a good feeling here.

  25. Looking to the offseason The season is over and obviously it ends on a bad note for the Magic. Losing in the Finals will always hurt and it stings even worse when you lose on your home court. There are several positives you can take away from this season though. 1.) Experience- I like to look at Orlando as last year
