The fact still remains, he is holding himself out of training camp for more money. Still a rookie with a self inflated ego.

I guess that would make their outfits less stylish??? haha, personally I have never been a fan of the basically no defense rule, especially since, it spills onto the playground to. You cant tap a player on the arm without an elbow being thrown in your face. Coporate logos should be the least of basketball fans worries. you're right about the tap a player thing. I had to stop a fight today when one dude got pissed at this kid for slightly hand checking him while he's dribbling up the court. I love it when somehow you get matched with a guy about 3 times your size, and they get pissy when you use your body to box them out. As if there ridiculous size advantage wasnt enough, I cant touch you at all? Basketball has gotten incredibly soft. -
5 most hated to ever put on Blue and White

His attitude was annoying. With such athleticism, pure shot, and good defense you'd think Tmac would have gotten somewhere. Like past the first round... You can toss that bull**** around all you want, but the fact is Tmac was one of the top 3 players in the league during his domination with the Magic. He almost single-handedly led the team past what would be a a championship squad. You may have been 11-years old at the time, but offensively, Tmac was the most impressive player the Magic have ever had. I never said he wasnt. I agree he was one of the best players at the time, and an offensive maniac. I'm just saying, you can't ignore his personality/attitude. His personality? Look back at those teams he had, those teams he basically single handely led to the playoffs. It is a surprise he didnt ask for a trade earlier, management dropped the ball big time. You cant tell me for 5 years no one wanted to play with probally the best scorer in the league at the time. Also cant really blame T-mac for the injuries. He had a bad back, not really his fault. -
Get ready for bad news...Shard suspended for 10 games
richnba replied to Catman Forever's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
If baseball is willing to throw the name of its best players out on the wall, no doubt the NBA would be forced to. If Lebron were on the juice, the NBA would have to spill it, because it will look better if it is the NBA breaking this story, and not some career defining reporter. Again as I think back however, this is exactly what happened to baseball, they let the reporters break the story, and that is how it got out of hand. -

1st 10 games; Who starts at PF now? Poll/Discussion
richnba replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Bass, most likely I would say. Or if Stan wants to keep the 3 pt shooter in there, he might throw Ryan Anderson in there. So, let me recant, I believe Anderson may be the most realistic option, simply judging by our style of play. -
I missed the cut, darn it. I wasnt ever great, but I was getting better. This was gonna be my year. If anyone wants to make a third im in.

Third Quarter Collapse: Lewis is our PF(link)

And lewis at the 4 is the main reason we struggled against Philly, Boston, and LA. -
Third Quarter Collapse: Lewis is our PF(link)
richnba replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
It would make no sense to keep Lewis at the 4. We have acquired two good pf's. Retained Gortat, so why would we put them to waste? Put Lewis at the 3 and we have one of the most versatile teams in the league. -
Magic No Longer Favorites For Watson [update p.47]
richnba replied to Diplo's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
This would be a great pickup. Very nice backup pg. Now my only concern going into next season, is that all these pickups in the offseason will be for nothing, and Stan continues to use Lewis at the 4. When Otis has given him the leverage to go to a traditional lineup. -

You don't think he could win it with Nelson Carter Pietrus Bass Gortat Lewis Anderson Redick The guys in this team are effective, because they play as a team. As the Raptors will learn, take one guy away and the player will not be nearly as effective Take Lewis, with Meer he was an allstar. Without Meer he was Sharmin. Not effective at all, a couple good games here and there. This team is built to win Dwight not Lebron.

That being said, from a pure basketball standpoint, if he were to stay for at least three years, without a doubt. I honestly think we'd break 70 wins. And I love Dwight, but come on.. No way... Lebron would still be a one man show, give Lebron a good center and he will crack 70, not with Gortat and Lewis.
-
No, without Dwight and subbing in Lebron, this team is no better then the one Lebron is currently on. He cant win on his own, who will be his sidekick here? Lewis?Nelson, Nelson would in effect be useless with Lebron, meer isnt a player who stands and waits for the ball.
-
If we match Gortat, he will not be nearly effective next year, as this year. This year he had no problem being Dwights backup, but he wants to start, where will his loyalties lie? He will complain throughout the season, no doubt about it. If Otis wants to match I hope he has an idea of where Gortats mindset will be next year.

Can we somehow package Jareth in a deal with the TE?

BS of the OS says No Offers to Free Agents Yet (Link)
richnba replied to Drain-O's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
So I guess we can expect a free agent within the day, with how recent Schmitz gets his news. -
Question- What kind of legal action could be taken against him?

So you have two scenarios 1. An old man is trying to have a conversation with you 2. A hot chick is twittering you. Which one are you responding to?

Turk FA Update: Turk agrees to terms with Toronto (yes, Raptors, not Portland)
richnba replied to Nyce_1's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
So almost 11 mil, for a streaky shooter who plays next to no defense, has almost 2 passes a game that make you go what!!!! -
Rumor: Kidd Staying put, Magic may match Gortat! [HW]
richnba replied to star_phenom35's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Honestly if we dont let Gortat go I guarantee he wont be happy here. He wants to start, and he deserves it, he has busted his hump off. He will always be Dwights second fiddle here. -
Honestly Orlando wouldnt even be all that much of a move for Sheed. He goes from what the 10th most dangerous city in the US, to number I think it is what 3 or 4?
