I agree with geaves. He needs to work with shooting coach the magic hired last summer. He didn't work with him during season because I believe Stan wanted to use his guys. Here is picture of Dwight's form from shooting coach Charles Richardson's website. http://www.shootnet.com/page7.html Arm extended great form. Remember Dwight hit 60 in a row working with him last summer. Dwight started out season with good form and also taking and hitting the outside J before falling back to old habits.

Rob, to answer your question... I've read on previous posts, the Shooting Coach, Charles Richardson, was hired by the Magic in May with option for renewal at the end of August. He specifically worked with Dwight on developing in outside shot and free-throws. He also worked with James Augustine. Apparently, his contract was not renewed because Stan wanted to use his own people. Not sure why they'd stop something that was working. -

Dwight didnt have to shoot much tonight he had a lot of help. Still think the other teams will see his improvment. I bet he's not fouled much and doesn't have to shoot outside. Great game. Go Magic!!! -
Even with Howard not having a great game, we put up some points baby. Shard makes me nervous, but haven't left his "bandwagon" Love#12. Looks like this could be the year with more performances like that. What is your take on changes the new coaching staff has set forth? Looking good. Go Magic!

Does anyone know anything about this shooting coach? Is he a part of the new staff? Hope so, the improvement was very noticalbe. I remember reading earlier this month on several posts that his name was Charles Richardson. What is the skinny?

Just to follow up... Dwight ended up hitting his last 16 out of 19 free throws in the FIBA tourney. Like your stats D-Bo - could turn us around next season and would make all the difference! Go Magic!

Kudos to Otis for bringing in a shooting coach to work with Dwight. His form looks much better and he has hit his last 10 of 11 from the line.
