    Okay that's good and all but if you could flip Iggy, Gasol or Bynum at the deadline for even more assets if you need to.

     

    Hell Iggy netted more in a trade than Howard it looks like.

     

    You are just being ignorant now.

     

    Jesus Christ you just don't get it. Comparing what other teams got back for what they gave up is ignorant. We couldnt get more than this for a player who is essentially a rental.

    I don't get why people are mad, dwight was gone, he is damaged goods we were never going to get full value. Affalo and Harkless are great building blocks, we got 3 firsts we shed Jrich. WHY is everyone mad? we all knew we were blowing this team up.

     

    Too much listening to the national media, and holding on to the hope that we would either keep Dwight or get a superstar back.

     

    Anyone who thinks this trade is worse than the Nets or HOU offers is insane.

    Last time I checked defense wins championships. Dwight at his age is far better on defense than Shaq in his best year. Shaq was truly a low block beast though. Shaq had a lot better talent around him and put up more shots too. Dwight and Shaq are neck and neck in my book at this point in their career but in Shaq's era their were other big men, Robinson, Young Duncan, Hakeem and Patrick. Dwight has no competition for 5 more years. He will eat any other center in the league alive with the talent that surrounds him in LA. I cant imagine a front line of Pau and Dwight inside with other teams unable to double down on them. They will win 70 games next year.

    Let's we go according to this plan. And we get a star next year. Suppose a KD. Pipedream. You get a team with a KD/Afflalo/JJ/Nelson/Harrington/Baby. This team puts you 5th or 6th in the EC.

     

    IT IS NOT A GOOD PLAN. Just blow it up and go Houston's way. Maximize picks and expirings and bring k mart and rookies to start rebuilding already.

    We are going to suck this year guys, we always were going to suck this year. This is what Rob wanted. We'll be in the lottery and hope to get a stud and surround him with guys like Afflalo, Nicholson, Harkless, etc.

     

    Getting Harkless makes this deal okay to me, he is going to be an Iggy like player. Between him Nicholson and O'Quinn we have a nice rookie crop.

     

    Harkless has the raw skill to be way more than that (if he taps his full potential)

    The Rox offer is definitely better than this, but if they can flip Pau when he's eligible to be traded , which I think they would, then that's a different story.

    You guys are gonna say that Pau is a scrub... He's not. You guys are probably gonna say that I'm biased. Biut I just don't see him a scrub. He still is a great trade asset

     

     

    As a Laker fan, I'm hoping this trade doesn't go through.

    They'd be the losers in this potential trade, alright. Sure, it's better for the Lakers' future. But as for their title run...........

     

    getting Howard without losing Pau would be ideal (Cavs/Rox 3-way)

    But losing our 2 bigs for Howard is just BS for me. It would be a huge downgrade to the Lakers.

     

    To the Laker fans :

    Howard + Gasol > Drew + Gasol > Howard + Harington's

    I want Varejao - if we can get him straight up I do it in a second, if not then lets throw in a little incentive (remember Dwight said he would resign in LA - we should do everything we can to get Dwight to LA now since he is willing to resign)

     

    orlando - varejao

    LA - Howard and Orlando's 2013 1st round pick

    Cle - Bynum and Orlando's 2015 1st round pick

     

    I think that might persuade them to let go of varejao

     

    Even if joking, you should be banned for this post...
