When u think about it what is the ceiling to most of u guys. Is about being an all-star for ten years or is about the stats. big numbers great games and highlight reels of entertainment. Its about all that and but most of all its about winnig and who has won. winning championships is the ceiling for any player.once these guys win a ring and contribute to that, then we can talk about ceilings and legacys. SVG has a big roll in in this teams ceiling.

With all the real potential of this team can Stan get it done. He has a big plate ahead of him with so many of our guys with something to prove. Can he allow everybody to gel and put a honest to god good system in place. We could go on and on about each player on our team, what they need to prove and how reddick this or darko that dwight over here. it comes down to the team aspect and SVG plan on being the big man. It is Not about making it all about him and his methods but really making this work. Alot is going on these days with the team and he has some acheviements to accomplish. The team does have the Real potential of becoming a force in the east next year and down the road. I have good faith in SVG. he does really need to step up to the plate and we all know he likes the plate especially when its full of pasta.

For a point guard it comes down to descion making. That is jameers real only problem. Is it time to be mister big shot wich he has proven he can do or is about getting the team to gel. He just needs to work on the iq part of the game and stop turnig the ball over and this real no problems after that. This a year for him to prove to us all he can be an elite pg in this league. maybe not elite next year but down the road just play solid ball and improve and he has nothing to worry about and neither do the magic and the fans

Honestly none of really know either Darko's work ethic or Dwight's. First off Dwight isb a freak, gifted by god he's body. He has had a good up bringing in life with his parents who put him on the right path to be a gentlemen and to care. Darko has high awareness on the court and showed in the playoffs that he can be a banger in the low post averaging the 58% from the field best in the nba playoffs. most consitent on the tream this playoffs. Darko showed more leadership yelling and commanding the ball but not juust for himself for the greater good of the team. Dwight slacks in this area but will learn and stop trying to go to the hoop every time and pass the ball and not keep turning the ball over. I believe he will cure this problem and learn how to shoot better in the coming years. Darko has had chances to show his killer instinct in the playoffs and for Serbia last summer being 3rd overall in double doubles. He doesnt need to be a freak on boards when Dwight is probaly the best in the league at grabbing boards. They both can learn form each other and help their games out. Darko Has the potential of whatever he wants averaging 15 points maybe 20 in a year or 2. He will only get better and already is probaly top 5 best passing big guys in the league. Two big guys on the same team one a freak on the boards and dunks. The other great passer can score from almost anywhere and is deff improving on his low post. With all these said any potential for any player comes down to 2 things. First is all about the will and want of theplayer and can really show how good they can be for themselves and for their teammates. 2nd and the most important is having the right coach. Look at any great hall of famers or any current proven winners in this league and they all have had great coaches guide them to be best they can be. Everybodys road is differnt and its up to the coach to guide them down the right path and show them how it should be done. hwo to win how to learn. Any good mentor can bring the best out of anybody. Also its about leadership not just stats. A leader on the court,off court, locker room and so forth. There is no real ceiling for darko he has the potential and so forth for Dwight. Lets hope SVG cna guide the twin towers to stand tall.

We have alot of youth wich is good to an extent. but we need a proven leader until our own youth learns and adjust to the league. We need to make a move so if ur gonna make a move go all in we been playing the hands dealt to us so far. go balls deep and get KOBE. after our few rings then we can worry about rebuilding.

he was a key factor in their run and no one can take that away form him but he did slow down against the spurs but who doesnt slow down against the Spurs? I like the guy but we dont need him.

Absolutely, we need to make this happen. Otis cna u pull it off. It would sell seats and market well. national TV coverage, and actually chance to win it all with Kobe an Dwight. kobe and d12 vs. diesel and 3d game 7 eastern finals 2008. i think its very plausable. The NBA is built on marketing first now a days. But in the heart and soul of basketball lies IRONY. It would be such an ironic situation with Kobe on Shaqs first team, playing along side the most closet think to shaq now a days D12. Kobe vs Wade come on 6 times a year then possible playoffs. The NBA needs this. Dwight vs shaq, and stan vs old team and coach Pat riley. Can Flordia contain all these lol. I would love for this to happen and i believe it can when the league is founed on IRONY.

Well Dwight either is a natural born leader or he is not. I bleieve he has the skills to be a leader and with his postive attitude i believe Their would be no friction with Kobe. Dwight could learn alot from Kobe since no 22 year old is gonna lead a team to the finals on his own. Dwight could teach Kobe a few things as well.

Shaq handled Kobe, they won three rings. Its not about an enternity of friendship just a respect issue and thats where they had problems down the road and a front office that couldnt help.

exactly. That was his team first for 5 or 6 years and secluded to the shadows for nash and Amare. He is just as good as them but never became that go to guy. Kobe is that guy. However maybe your are rgiht Maybe marion could flourish and unleash that go to guy innerbeast. He's in his prime we have not seen it yet though so that worrys me.
