Nelson out 4-6 Weeks with Knee Surgery
sixflat1 replied to Jareth Cutestory's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I am a little skeptical about signing AI, although he is an amazing PG his personality seems to be an issue with his teams of the last couple years. I dunno, he might also be the key we need to win the whole thing. Also i think everyone deep down knows Nelson hasn't been playing good since his injury last year, and IMO ruined our chance at the championship. It would be a sad sight to see that happen again. Sessions would be a good pick-up. -
Do we need a new starting Point Gaurd?

That's why Iverson would so NOT work. He just isn't taking a bench position anywhere, even with a contender I don't think. Iverson could easily step into the starting 2 position(moving Carter to the 3) or he could be a backup 2. Yes brilliant idea, a 5"11 point guard and a 6"0 shooting guard and lets not even mention the fact that if you got those two together and asked them to spell defence, well . . . lets just say they would be there a while. HAHAHAH, yessss Dude, I'd suggest you check the ENGLISH spelling, you know, the guys who actually created the language and just to be clear for you I DONT mean American English. I find the ignorance of some people on these boards highly amusing at times lol I find it amusing that you actually care that someone spelled a word wrong on a message board about basketball. Seriously who cares about spelling if you know what hes tying to say. This isn't am english test. I think Jwil can run the team pretty well and AJ did dam n good last year... although it would be sweet to get raymond. -
It's time to hit the panic button!
sixflat1 replied to Magic Fan 4 Life's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Agreed it is way too early to press a "panic button" although i am starting to panic when i see Dwight, will the guy ever develop any different post moves, a mid-range jumper, or make some ****n FT's? I was hoping this would be the year, but still everytime i see him put the ball on the floor it ends badly. -

UGH i hate lebron! what a lil bit ch. I think we get too easily discouraged when the shots aren't falling, the energy disappears for most of the team when we miss. -

I have always been of the opinion that an ox of a PF with a mid-range jumpshot playing next to Dwight could be just as successful (if not more). But it seems until Dwight learns to pass out of the double team effectively, hit a mid-range jumpshot himself, it looks like the best strategy is to surround him with perimeter shooters that open up the lane for him to operate with space (vice versa for the shooters). I love d12 but will he ever develop said mid range jumper? every season its just the same thing... I hate to say it but, will he ever do anything else besides the same ol' post moves?
