Best defensive PG? Must have been watching a different game! Heart and hustle...wow what adjectives for a gunner. 17 points on 13 shots and one was an uncontested layup with 3 seconds to go. What was he doing in there with Dooling starting the 4th period? JJ played 4 minutes, buried both his jumpers..a 3 and a 2 and sits the rest of the game. Great coaching and rotation. I blame jameer but Bhill even more.

I agree with most of the post but Dwight just needs to make free throws and learn to make short bank shots and a hook of some sort. Everyone needs to improve there defense...starting with Jameer...now he really sucks. He couldn't guard my 5 year old...oh wait he is almost as tall! JJ doesn't give up a 100 points a game..especially in 4 minutes of play!

Jameer sucked out the joint..come on people. He had one spurt when he made 3 baskets in a row with two misses that we rebounded so he could shoot again. 77 games into the season and he is getting worse. And Dooling should never shoot that many jump shots. Are people blind or what? When we had a chance again he screwed up..period! he just had to shoot to be a hero...and once again he failed. If we don't make it...it will be because of the PG play.

Everyone watching the game knows Jameer is going to take the last shot. He will stay out front and dribble the ball down to around two seconds take two steps forward and shoot a 3 pointer. The rest of theam doesn't even have to be on the court. 67 games of this. Give JJ 67 shots at the end and I bet he would nail a much higher percentage. 4 assists in 42 minutes and JJ had 3 in 10. Team ball...I am not sure he knows what that is. He looked terrible playing the SG....Like Brian Schmitz stated" Nelson's size is a factor, whether he likes to hear that or not."

The last time I looked this was the USA?? So tell me why again that the people in the US should not cheer for US players. Believe me that 99% of Americans could care what color or nationality a player is. If they did they would never watch or go to games. My family came to the US from Italy and loved the US and did whatever it took to become a US citizen including speaking and learning the language. I guess I should become a Raptors fan and cheer for Andrea Bargnani. But I would not because I am a BB fan and a Magic fan. Carlos is sitting where he should. I have been reading this board now for a long time. I have gleemed some great information from many of these fans. Most of these fans are so very passionate and knowledgeable. I have read a few posts that have made me cringe and angry but when I really stop and analyze most posts they are done out of love for either a certain player or for the team overall. This city is starving for a winner and looking for something to cheer about besides Disney World. But what I have a hard time excepting and trying to justify is someone who posts just to anger people. I think our mods are doing a great job of keeping people in line and cooling people off when needed. What I feel we don't need is a magiczone cop and bully. And that I believe is you Magicmaninmiami. You seem to look and wait for a subject just to degrade it. Loosen up and take a pill and let these true fans vent in their own way and not your way.

I do not see this point as being valid, so quit pushing and quit being irritating. State your thoughts and opinions and expect some positives and negatives. That is the point behind a free forum. Smack he is the best percentage but by a very small percentage. My thoughts are he is not as good a defender as he is promoted to be, not bad, mind you but not as good as he is touted to be. His 3 pointers usally come when the closest defenders 5 6 feet away. Always uncontested. He does not shoot well with pressure and a hand in his face. He sort of just stands in a corner and waits. He also was one of the big jokers and smilers on the bench. Maybe this had something to do with it. Bogans does seem to dog it at times. I think he can help but I feel it is time to give JJ teh minutes.

They played well. JJ may have silenced some of the critics on his defense. In his interview afterwards he said he was happy with his defense. He was beat once but doesn't everyone get beat at least once. Lol! JJ is never just standing he is in constant motion and that does help on any double teams down low. They did look good with Doolings great play as well as JJ's. It was an exciting game and it did get close when those two tired a bit. The scoring will come naturally it is the combination of teh complete game that wins games. I hope it continues.

I am curious on your post Fred. I never did see where anyone used the word scrub but you! A fruedian slip perhaps. I think u opened urself up to criticism when u suggested a D leaguer over JJ. I agree with the fan who said that Augustine tore up the D league. What did it get him? Why was he called back so soon to dress in a suit? Suggestions, plenty of them. Fire B hill. Start the young guys and watch the excitement and winning spirit that we pay to see. BTW with the ten day contract who would u suggest they put on the suit bench?
