  1. Jose, Arroyo is very talented but the Magic fans need to know what happened with his previous teams to make a decision about who should start. quote: Detroit Free PressFebruary 7, 2005 "He needs to know what we're doing after missed and made baskets. He's holding onto the ball too long. Instead of making the simple play he's trying to make the spectacular play. We just need to get him more comfortable with what we're doing." -- Larry Brown A Jazz site that is no longer open has a glimpse into his troubles there. Postings at Jazz site more posted comments I still wish him success, but feel he is suited to being a backup if he will run the plays. Wish the Jazz had not traded Deshawn. The Magic were winners in that trade.
  2. Detroit dumped him to find another point guard. He is very talented, but plays for himself. Take it from a JazzFans. He has the wrong attitude and until he changes he will never be a great player. He has tremendous upside but an inability to play for the benefit of the team. I have followed his career from Utah to Detroit, and he has not changed. I hope playing in front of a more home crowd will help him to change. I would like to see him succeed.
  3. Arroyo will start off strong like he did in Utah and Detroit. Then he will get verbal with the coach like he did in Utah and Detroit about running "his" plays. He will yo-yo the ball at the top of the key, until only a few seconds are left then try to create something. He is not a team player. Nelson has to start with Arroyo picking up minor minutes at most.
